Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Intersection of Tecumseh and Cameron this morning around 10am, I spotted this e bike with a canopy and seats. Maybe the soaring gas prices made people think of new means of transportation! Or maybe people now are thinking of going greener and help the environment! In either cases I had to stop, take a picture and say wow !
My husband just spent a week in CCU at Hotel Dieu and just want to take them time to say how
wonderful the nurses were. Want to mention Becky, Jasmin, Becky, Heather and Chan. They were amazing and so caring. Keep up the good work nurses. You have been spotted.
I would like to Thank the gentleman in the blue escort in front of me at the Tim Hortons on Tecumseh and Lauzon for paying for my lunch today.
I was having a bad day, and you put a smile back on my face.
Thank you for paying it forward, I will continue to pay it forward.
Restores my Faith that there are still more great people in this city.
My fiance and I just want to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at Met hospital. From start to finish, during what was a scary time for us as parents (and I am sure for our daughter), we were treated like gold. Our daughter is 2 years old, has Down Syndrome, and is unable to communicate to us when she is hurt or sick. But every single doctor and nurse that helped her from the ER visit early Friday morning, to the nurses (I am sorry that I do not recall all your names, but I do remember Megan and Amanda on the pediatric floor) that cared for her over the weekend, were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely patient, friendly, and informative. It made a scary and stressful situation a whole lot easier to have wonderful doctors and nurses like all of you.
So, again, a HUGE thank you to all of you.
To the young woman with her child that (accidentally) cut 7 people in line at zehrs self check out line on February 10th. I apologize for the way i came off letting you know you had just cut the line. I was already pressed for time on my lunch and feel I came off too harsh towards you. I realized you did not mean to do this.
To the dark haired young man in the gold truck with the yellow Support our Troops ribbon at the Tim Horton's at Ouellette and Eugenie this morning at 9.
Not only did you speed and cut me off dangerously to beat me to the drive thru line, you impatiently yelled as the person ahead of you placed an order. Screaming F*ck and speeding out of the drive through without looking and nearly hitting a car as you squealed on to the road.
That women was not deserving of that behaviour. She is not to blame for your inability to control yourself. When I tipped her and apologized on your behalf-she mentioned that you regularly do this and she feels bad that things are so complicated for you. She treated you with grace and compassion that you don't deserve. I hope that wherever you work and whatever you do for a living-that you don't have to encounter people as toxic and hateful as you are.
