Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the gorgeous girl yesterday downtown around 2:40 in afternoon, wearing black pants green shirt and was with a friend walking into Starbucks, you've been spotted. Sincerely the guy who couldn't stop looking in the white BMW holding up traffic.
Here is a long shot...I lost all of my daughters ID after an appointment last week. Tecumseh Rd East Area to Tecumseh. It was 4 plastic cards (health card, sin card, and 2 others)....if anyone happened to find anything, pls let me know. It is not as easy as u think to replace all items...
Thanks!!!
To the sweet elderly man at the bus terminal thanks for the good laugh about how the machine didn't want to take your money just like your wife, also thank you for sharing the poem you wrote about babys with us & sharing your story about you becoming a grandpa!
You've been spotted keep up with the poem writing!
I was shopping in Metro yesterday and as I rounded the corner of an aisle, a elderly gentleman handed me a beautiful rose. I thought, what a kind gesture. I went to the checkout to pay for my purchases and I was mentioning this to the cashier. She told me that his wife had died, not sure when, but every once in awhile he comes in to buy roses and hands them out. I just wanted to say thank you. That one single rose made my day. I am going to pay it forward.
Villanova's cast and crew of Hairspray. What an amazing job you did! The show was so professional and so much fun!! Bravo to the kids and everyone who supported them. There's one chance left to see the show; Saturday, March 1st. 7 pm.
Today at the gas station, the clerk who was working at 9am was being very rude and yelled at an elderly man all because his debit was declining and the elderly man was trying to get the clerk to dial his wife's number for him on his (the elderly mans) cell phone. After my mother jumping in to dial the number because the clerk refused while being rude. The elderly man tried to explain that he had to go to the bank to withdraw the money for him. The clerk then began to yell more and demand his licence. My aunt lucky enough to know him went in to help and after arguing with the clerk decided to just pay for the gas. Now here's the kicker. The clerk knew this man since he goes to that store all the time. It really breaks my heart to see how some people treat the elderly. He was a very kind man who looked like he was going to cry. This man has heart problems and other health issues. I'm only assuming that this clerk yelling and belittling him was not only causing emotional damage, but damage to his health as well with that kind of stress. Just because you work in customer service (I do too) and you might be having a bad day, that does not mean you should take it out on anyone. Especially a sweet old man who was just trying to pay for his gas.
To the pharmacist in Tecumseh who tricks elderly patients and uninformed patients who have been prescribed multiple months of medication that their doctor prescribed them into signing for only one month supply with repeats so you can collect more dispensing fees shame on you. People need to be aware that they are allowed to fill more than one month supply at a time and to not be fooled into "signing for repeats". Its just another way of the store making more money by having you pay a dispensing fee every month instead of once every 3 months. Some people dont realize this and end up paying big. Also, the fact you hound patients who walk out of the clinic is annoying and unprofessional and I will never go back because of it.
To the man who came into the pharmacy on Wyandotte Friday morning asking for a photo copy! You were too cute! Thank you for the great compliment! Made a bad morning into a great day! Caught off guard, and shy but hope you come in again!
Signed,
Blushing still.
