You're greatly missed

I recently brought my daughter to a doctor's appointment & was so sad to see that the receptionist was gone. I've been going to this doctor in the 700 building since my son was born, 7 years ago. The doctor is a wonderful woman & her receptionist was great. She always had a kind word for my kids, putting them at ease before a pick, giving them a sucker or cookie when they were done. She did her best to get us in if one of them was really sick. She gave great advice over the phone. She called back promptly with test results & she never over booked (at least when I was there). Anyway, the doctor told me she retired. I'm very happy for her, but sad for my kids that won't get to see her anymore. If anybody knows this lady, please let her know she was really appreciated.

Spotted
The woman at the Hedley concert on march 1st, who told me that I had to sit down because she was unable to stand and could not see past me. Then forced my whole section to sit through the concert for her. When she asked me at the end to sit down during a standing ovation and I told her that I paid to stand at the concert and she could sit in the open seats with a clear view next to me, she swore at me. Thank you for ruining my time at what should have been a fantastic concert.

Sincerly,
If you cant see, move to a better seat

Paying it Forward

I was at the Fresh Co. on McDougall Ave. my bank card had a glitch, due to me mistakenly entering wrong pin the day before too many times (wrong card) lol, anyway to make a long story short, the lady behind me decided to Pay it Forward, paid my bill when I tried my card on another till, I attempted to pay the nice lady the cash I had on me, which wasn't too shy from the total of my bill, she insisted on not taking my money, I will definitely remember this lady, and for this I ensured the lady I would Pay it Forward in her honour, again THANK YOU!!!!

Helping a stranger

A young couple driving down matchette road with her mom and their kids spotted a running snow blower, with an elderly man laying in the snow up by his house. They turned around, and went to his aid and alerted a neighbor, my fiancé He quickly called me an RN to come assist. This young couple were great, she called 911 while her husband helped me with chest compressions, and my fiance administered breaths ,they kept their cool, until EMS arrived. I don't know if the man made it, but due to some angels driving by he has a chance! You've been spotted

No support for breast cancer research!

I went in search of a large quantity of icing for a cupcake fundraiser that our workplace does every year for Breast Cancer Research. Grocery store had about 117 tubs that I tried to purchase. At the checkout I was told you can only buy 20. I was surprised but said can you call the manager please. I wasn't asking for the icing for free or even at a discounted price, I was paying the price on the shelf. After explaining all this to the manager his response was "I said you can buy twenty". I am truly disappointed that exceeding the limit could not be overlooked for a group that is trying to help fund research for breat cancer!! Shameful!

Shoutout to SHAYN at Freshco

This young man went above and beyond to ensure I was charged the correct price on a produce item I was purchasing. I questioned the price of an item I was buying while going through his check-out and he tried 3 different codes until he found the correct one, even though I assured him it was okay. He stated that he would not feel right if I was overcharged. Thanks Shayn, for taking those couple of seconds to put it right. I left the store with a smile on my face and the feeling that Freshco at Tecumseh & McDougall should be proud of that young man for his good customer skills. I will remain a customer of your store due to this. Also, a pat on the back to the parents who raised such a conscientious and pleasant young man - you did a great job. Keep up the good work Shayn!
P.S. - it wasn't the small amount of money involved, it was the attitude of the person who put it right.

Missing Manx

My cat has been missing for two nights. If anyone sees a black Manx (short hair cat with no tail) please contact Karen Kreitzer via Facebook. He has been declawed and has no means of defending himself. It's too cold outside for him and he's accustomed to being an indoor cat. He went missing near Randolph and Grand Marais. His name is Nooby and he's very friendly. Any help would be appreciated.

Spotted: To the houses off of Tecumseh road Infront of Central, Malta and Larkin area,

My car was broken into lastnight! Just thought I would give others the info to double check your stuff! I had locked my doors when I got home from work lastnight, so they either didn't lock properly, or the person picked my lock! A little frightening to open up your car door and see your stuff everywhere! Thankfully nothing valuable was in there, just my CD's, insurance and some receipts, which was thrown everywhere when I opened my door.

Sincerely,
I feel so violated! To whoever did that, Karma will pay a visit my friend!
