Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Today I found out my neighbor has throat cancer. Secretly it devastated to me to hear this. Im giving him a shout out because he really does deserve it more than anyone. Bob, continues to do things for my family, like help my mom single mom pay for bills. Just today he paid to have my moms car fixed...for the third time. He continuously does random acts of kindness like taking our garbage, or shoveling AND salting our sidewalks. Bringing food over for us all the time, simply being there for our family for when we were at a time of loss. Bob, I just want you to know that the world needs more people like you. You have inspired me to do random acts of kindness, and I hope people have noticed your kindness the way I have. Even though you're sick, you still do these things for us which I can't explain how much my family appreciates. It sad to hear you guys are moving, and we could never ask for better neighbors. I hope you get better, I really do! no one deserves cancer, especially not you. The world needs you to inspire people more.
I want to say a huge thank you to the Tecumseh fire chief, the two first responders, the two paramedics that came to the doctors office in Tecumseh to care for my 22 month old son. You were all so kind especially when I felt like I was going to have a meltdown at any minute. You kept my other kids distracted while everyone was giving medical attention to the baby. All of you were so kind and made the whole scary situation a lot easier I can't thank you enough. I also want to thank our family doctor and her staff for dropping everything to care for our baby. All of you are true Heroes in our eyes. Our son is doing better he has a two day stay in the pediatric ward and is still recovering at home but getting better and back to himself each day. I can't thank you all enough you are all wonderful, caring people and I'll never forget how you put everything aside to help my little one. Thank you so much from out whole family!
This evening my car had broke down in the middle of Tecumseh mall parking lot in front of good life fitness, I had my hazards light on and my 10 year old daughter and I were sitting in the vehicle freezing cold waiting for the tow truck to come. In the 2 hours we were waiting only 2 ladies and a gentlemen stopped. I want to thank the gentlemen for stopping and tried to push the car in a safer place. Thanks for being really kind. You've been spotted.
Stupid me, I locked my keys in the car with the car running. Stood there dumb founded wondering WTH, why did this van let me do that, fully loaded & it couldn't stop me from doing this with a buzz or beep. Anyway this ANGEL offered to help me out, she drove me home to get my other keys & drove me back. She started talking about God, & how she has been blessed with a great life, & she helps out at the mission & use to feed the homeless at a downtown park until the city stopped her due to sanitary reasons, meanwhile the homeless eat out of dumpsters. She was not preaching to me she was just very thankful for everything in her life & Praised The Lord. All I could say was thankyou sooo much, she gave me a lump in my throat because of her kindness, I could barely talk. She wouldn't take any gas money, she continually refused, I said how about I give you this $20 & you do a good deed from the both of us. She liked that idea & than said, is it ok if I give you a hug, we hugged each other tight & I went on my way...Isn't that the craziest, nicest thing...I will never forget her, she was a God Send
I love reading these happy, heartfelt stories. It is so nice to see good people exist especially when the world is somewhat a mess. Thank you "spotted in Windsor" for brightening the day! And thank you to all the awesome people that are willing to help another person, warms the heart
The side walk on McHugh from Clover to Chateau on the south side has not been shoveled once this year. Called the City and they said that there is no side walk there. Really? Wow now all the kids that wait for the school bus are walking on ice and snow. Great job Windsor
Stopped: I want to say thank you to the guy on the Ottawa 4 bus I was going downtown and was at the bus stop with my daughter in a stroller and when the bus got to the stop I was at this guy came and help me bring the stroller on the bus because of all the snow there. I'm a single 5'1 mom and can't really pick up the stroller by myself and that was a great help I don't get that help all the time and nice when it does happen and so greatfull. I just want to say thank you for helping me.

I didn't really spot anything, I was out picking my brother up from soccer practice only to realize I didn't have my wallet. I got home and searches every bag I had and my whole entire car, could not find it anywhere. I was shopping at devonshire mall today, so I figured I would call to see if anyone returned it. My mom & brother said no ones going to return it because it's Michael Kors. I was so upset. The lady was so happy I called they have been trying to get a hold of me to let me know my wallet was returned. To whoever turned my beautiful Michael Kors wallet that was a gift from my fiance . I would really like to say thank you so much!!!!!
Sincerely
One thankful mommy!!!!
