Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
I was at the after hours clinic on Howard last night with my 2 year old. He was in a lot of pain from an ear infection and was crying. The receptionist called a young lady in and she gave up her spot to let us go ahead of her. I believe you said your name was Rachelle, sorry if I'm mistaken. Your compassion was greatly appreciated and I will never forget your kindness! I've done this for someone before I had kids and now I know how much this means to a parent when their little one is in pain! Thank you so very much!66508 #Caring #kind
Someone stole a bike trailer from the front porch on Goyeau and Tecumseh. Used to take 4 yr old to school as its a long walk. If you see this for sale anywhere please contact Ashton DeRego
I would like to thank Avery from Payless Shoes in Devonshire Mall. He went above and beyond with a situation with my daughters shoes. As did the original sales person. I was blown away with his professionalism, and his customer service. I hope his boss reads this and feels great knowing their staff takes great care of customers (which I find hard at most stores these days!). Staff at Payless, you have been Spotted! Thanks again! #PayLessShoes #Customerservice
On Sunday I was out running early morning, as I came to the paths on Riverside drive I spotted an older gentleman pulling a cart, wearing blue gloves- he was out picking up trash, cleaning up the area. I noticed the box he was putting the garbage in said "adopt a street"... I stopped to tell him I appreciate what he's doing. You sir, have been spotted, thank you!
I saw on spotted a few months ago a similar Kijiji scam. Email transfer the money? Yeah right... Won't fall for it and hopefully if anyone else is selling something on Kijiji they won't fall for it either !! I've included a picture of the number and what was said to me.
Ever see the line-up of people waiting to get in to the Downtown Beer Store when it opens? #BEER #Breakfastclub
On Friday later afternoon, I decided to go for a little bus ride. It's been ages since I have been on a bus, since I normally drive my car but, I figured I would just let someone else drive for once. I had decided to go visit my son over at Vito's Pizzeria where he works but was totally unsure on which bus to take. Thanks to the wonderful maintenance people in the Tecumseh food court and Steve, the bus driver for the Crosstown 2 bus, I didn't get lost and made it over there quite nicely. A large thank you to the driver Steve, who was not only helpful but very patient with me, in explaining everything I needed to know about taking the bus that day. You made the trip very enjoyable and fun!
