I'm LIVID!!
Taryn's bus driver has always dropped her off past the intersection that is her "bus stop" because the intersection is unsafe.
Today she had a substitute driver and she dropped her off at the unsafe stop in a big snow bank and left her there!
I always watch from the door because grade 1's are allied to walk home alone, but because of the snow and having no side walks on our side I went to meet her.
I stopped the driver and showed her where the driver drops her off, and the woman just said "well that's not what the paper says!" and drove away!
I called Pearson fuming, and the idiot on the line says that it's not their problem, the driver is a trainer for the MTO and she did nothing wrong because that is her appointed bus stop.
she says that she should be crossing the road with the bus.
ok, so she crosses at the corner with the bus...then she has to cross again at the opposite side of the intersection, and than on her own again in front of our house...at 6!
and then she says that it's my obligation as a parent to make the decision if it's safe for my child to walk home unattended.
NO SHIT!!?? at her normal every day bus stop that she has been dropped off at for over a year it is perfectly safe for her to walk on the grass as I watch from the door!!
what human being drops a 6 yr old off in a snow bank at an intersection with only one way stop signs alone who is visibly confused and leaves??!
We have ever requested that the move the bus stop down the road further where it's safe and their response is "we don't do door to door delivery". I'm not being LAZY! I'll walk where I need to, I just value my child's safety!
Pearson bus lines, you've been spotted.

This is a repost from yesterday. we are still looking for some help to get us dug out. We lost 2 of our shovellers, they had to catch rides to get to work. Have had to cancel several appointments

I am looking for someone with either a snow plow or a snow blower. I don't want to buy it I just need some help. I have been snowed in since Sunday's storm and cannot afford to pay a lot for someone to come clear it out. I have back problems and heart problems as well. We don't have a lot of cash because I am on S& A therefore the pays are smaller. Cannot get out of the driveway at all. If there is anyone that can help us please message me or call 226-773-2191 your help would be greatly appreciated

I would like to spot my mom and sister, while my mom was driving my sister to school this morning they witnessed a lady and her child in a stroller get struck by a car. My mom stopped her car in traffic and jumped out and ran to the mother and child and had my sister call the police. They stayed on the scene until the police, fire and ambulance showed up and managed to call the mother and child down. Love you guys from a thankful daughter and sister! & lt;3

To the young lady working at Subway @ Pillette & Wyandotte.... You were working the counter alone last night after just being robbed a few days ago... Your professionalism and great attitude is the reason I go to that store when I live closer to another location.... You are brave to be there alone and you are the true definition of a "Sandwich Artist"... Keep up the great work!.... Signed: His & Hers Subs

It was what happened rather what I spotted they spotted me actually. I want to give a hearty shout-out to the two Enwin Utilites workers who stopped and saved me this morning on Wyandotte Street while stuck in a snow bank and straddling a very busy lane of traffic a dangerous situation just before Walker Road. They not only hand shoveled, salted and pushed to try and move my vehicle which was hung up on the snow meanwhile they put out orange safety cones and blocked the lane with their trucks called 911 to get a tow truck & police dispatched and were calm, courteous and amazing. Police came who were kind enough to block off the lane while we waited for the tow. Between Enwin workers and the kindness of the police it restored my faith in human kind ..even a man walked asked to help out wow THANK YOU and the Myers Tow truck driver was very kind as well. To the guy that held the guard rail up at the train track crossing at banwell and Tecumseh just past the shoppers on Wednesday January 8th around 11 am so that vehicles could go by, Thank you so much!!!! The guards went down but no train was coming so we were all stuck and couldn't turn around because of the median in the middle of the road and it all got backed up. I hope someone was nice enough to hold it up for you to get through and that you didn't get stuck there. I would have but I am too short so wouldn't of been able to lol. You've been spotted and I hope you see this message! Thank you so much again, I was running late for work but made it on time thanks to you. You rock!!!
