To the gentlemen sitting in Section 119 who handed out approximately 20 Spitfire flags to the kids sitting in Section 118, you made my son's evening even better by giving the flags to cheer on their team! I'm sure the other kids felt the same way! What an awesome gesture and when my son said thanks you replied "no thanks needed! just cheer loud." Lots of kids made the jumbotron cheering for the Spits! im writing this letter .my daughter is in need of a truck or trailer on sat march 1st.she is moving .the person who was supposed to move her doesnt want to do it now.her and her friend are moving in together they have money to put in for gas .they dont need movers just a truck.she has to work till 2 pm and would like to move around 3 if u can help my daughter leave a mess thank u so much

I was at the bus stop at Riverside & Pentilly. Early this morning it was very cold as I was waiting for the bus to arrive and it drove right by me . I tried to wave the bus down as it continued to drive away. I started to walk to work a passing vehicle stop and said did you miss your bus ! I replied yes I did. The young lady offered to give me a ride to work . Her name is Sharron. Your kindness was greatly appreciate. I hope you see this I would like to buy you lunch on me. To the jerk that smashed in my car window and stole my purse Monday night in the parking lot of St. Gabe's school I can only hope that you will get yours. Also, I hope you cut yourself on some of the glass from my window. Not that you care but it'll cost over $2000 to repair the damage you caused and for what? $25 and a couple gift cards?? Oh and some Tylenol! I found my purse. Thank you for leaving most of my stuff in it.
I also want to thank the wonderful lady that found my cheque book in Central Park while walking her dogs and called me to return it. I can't thank you enough.
Also, to a person unknown who dropped my wallet off at my house with all my ID and pictures of my kids etc. I cannot put into words how happy I was. Your kind note brought tears to my eyes and YES I AM ALRIGHT!

Thank you to the lady that waited on my daughter and myself at Arbys on Howard today. She has waited on me twice in the last few weeks and so professional courteous and just so nice . I own a VERY small restaurant in Cedar Springs (just outside Blenheim). We specialize in Home made, non-processed Comfort & Soul Food. When I started this business 3 years ago I was only making and selling Frozen Foods that I would deliver to Single Seniors or Couples, or Busy Families who wanted to eat well but didn't have the time or ability to be able to do the work. After the 1st 2 years I thought I had a large enough customer base (we deliver in a 100 km radius- even to Windsor) to open in a retail location so that I would have access to a kitchen more than one day a week...So we took the last $10K we had saved and opened Comfort & Soul Restaurant & Catering.

April 1st would be our 1 year Anniversary which is very exciting, BUT, then the WINTER kicked in and Kicked our butts, we aren't going to make it if we don't increase our sales over the next 2 weeks to cover getting our equipment re-certified for another year...I am NOT asking for Donations, I am asking that you LET US cook for you...

We make entrees that will feed 2 people for $8.50 i.e. Cabbage Rolls, Cabbage ROll Casserole, Chicken 'n Dumplins, Potato Bacon, Leek & Cheddar Soup, Mac & Cheese, Southern Fried Chicken, SOuthern Style Fish and SOooo much more. Family sizes are available customized to the size of your family. We can take eTransfers as payment if you don't want to go to the bank. We are very flexible.

We have always tried to "Pay it Forward", if someone needs food and can't pay for it, we won't let them go hungry if we can possibly help! During Holidays if we hear of families that need a Meal, that they would not normally have, to help them celebrate like everyone else. We donate Gift Certificates to several Charities and Dog/ Animal Rescues for fund raising auctions... I just want the chance to continue to pay it forward out of the restaurant!! Can we WORK for you this week and help feed your family and make your life a bit easier? Please.

I also want to say that I have received a LOT of critical comments saying I should be ashamed to ASK to be able to cook for people. BUT, even if I have to sacrifice my pride,I will do whatever it takes to TRY to stay open, and, paying it forward.
