Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
found a camera with multiple SD cards, loaded with family pictures and graduations...describe it if its yours
As we know, St paddy's day has just passed. And with that, sending a spotted to anyone who may have picked up my jacket my mistake! Black bench coat with fur collar, it had my drivers license and health card in the pocket. Would greatly appreciate it off anyone has spotted it! Last seen at Manchester
To the gentleman that helped me push my car off to the side of the road today after it had broke down, thank you so much! I had been sobbing on the phone for a good ten minutes without any clues as to what to do!
Thanks to the driver on riverside drive headed east this morning just before noon... you saw a man limping across the road with a small dog under his arm, yet you still felt the need to accelerate and blast your horn at him....almost giving him a heart attack and terrifying the dog.... hope that never happens to you or your family members
I lost my wallet yesterday and it had everything in it. My kids heath cards, bank card, etc...
I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart to whom ever brought my wallet and put it in my mailbox today with everything including money i had in it back to me!!! I'm so relieved and a huge weight has been taken off my shoulders. I'm so happy there are still a few good people out there.. Thank you again you kind person, I really hope this msg finds you.
Sincerely,
One happy mom.
A HUGE shout out and a very big Thank You to the honest kind person who returned our lost wristlet. It was put in our mailbox INTACT, including $10 that was still inside. Again, Windsor proves what an amazing community we live in. Thank you.. Thank you.
I have been a loyal shopper at Real Canadian Superstore on Dougall Rd for several years. Through the years, I've made several connections with their great staff. I have a teenage son with autism that on occasion I've brought with his support staff along to shop. Over time, they've gotten to know my son and have been extremely accommodating to his needs when we are there. If he is not with me, staff always take the time to ask me how he is doing. I am also a part of Autism Services Incorporated here in Windsor, and we do an annual fundraiser every spring with all proceeds going to The Bruce Awad Summer Program for Individuals with Autism. Carolyn Levesque, who works at the Dougall Store, volunteers her time every year as a Face Painter for the kids at the dinner. To my complete surprise, this year employees had a meeting, posted a volunteer list for our fundraiser, and will be collecting money to put towards purchasing a big ticket prize to raffle off at the event! Needless to say, I am completely overwhelmed and touched by the sincere efforts of these fine individuals that work at Real Canadian Superstore on Dougall. I truly believe that this store deserves recognition for their generosity in helping a cause that is close to my heart.
In my yard, I have a big orange tabby who seems to have decided to stay.
Kitty has a mark in their fur like they recently had a collar on. Not sure if male or female. By the looks of their fur, they have probably been outside for a while.
Big kitty. At least 15-20 lbs. A bit chubby. Hazel eyes.
Came right up to me. Definitely used to belong to someone.
It's soooo cold out. If you or someone you know are missing a big orange tabby, send me a message.
Howard/ Erie area.
