Last night at 12am as we were closing at Windsor Pizza on Jefferson someone had the guts to steal one of the employees van right outside the open door. He left the keys in and came in for a minute and someone (short guy wearing a hat) jumped in quick and took off, if anyone knows anything please let us know as this punk should be caught! It was a grey older model van.. We had security cameras rolling so a picture will be added soon! Thanks

Please beware of World Auto a Emission and Service on Walker Rd! After three failed attempts at getting my emissions test done, the first two times I left and brought my car to the shop and was told there is nothing coming up in diagnostics and went back. The third time I left and went somewhere else and my car passed! That place is nothing but a scam!! Please go elsewhere!!

this seems to happen less than once a month since August or September of last year but it's still unnerving.

Anyway caught the same teenage boy trying to get into my house. I thought it was my husband like all the other times so I said "I'll get it, it's locked, honey". And the guy bolted but this time I saw all of him from close up. Police were called like all the other times and if they keep seeing you around University and Janette (because they do drive arounds after I call) they may just stop and question the boy.

To parents with thin, teenaged boys. He was white or fair skinned arab. Very thin in a dark hat, jacket and pants. Approximately 5'7" or a bit more. Please keep an eye on your boys. This seems to happen around the time school is out and I assume this kid gets off the bus near my house to wherever he lives and since the parking space is empty when my hubby's at work he tries to come in the side entrance.

I can't tell you how upset this makes me. I thought it was a grown man, but a teen getting started break and enters while still in high school is beyond sad.

I was driving east down Wyandotte the other day, in the neighborhood of Parent and Hall. I was the mom in the minivan full of small kids. You were the guy in your mid-to-late 20s walking west bound, toward us. Your pants were hanging a good 6" below your ass, with your belt keeping them on your mid thighs, so much so that you were having a hard time walking.

You caught my eye and gave a cocky half smile before you blew your nose. Now, by that, I don't mean that you removed a tissue from your pocket and blew your nose. I mean that you put your finger over your left nostril and blew a bunch of stuff out on to the snowbank and ground in front of you. Then you moved your finger to your right nostril and did the same from your left.

I just want to thank you for catching my attention before performing this incredible act. And then I want to remind you that when our generation is hailed as the most classless, unintelligent and ignorant in years, you are one of the reasons why. Stereotypes become stereotypes for a reason.

And a quick reminder to the rest of the world? Please don't lump all of us together in that category, I was as disgusted by this as you would have been.

I Would Have Happily Given You a Tissue

I work on Dougall right next to a bus stop and we frequently get people waiting for the bus coming into the store to warm up, in particular, a women in a wheel chair who's come in a few times waiting for a bus- usually because she has to wait over 40 minutes for a handicap accessible bus to arrive- but yesterday was another story, she had just missed her bus and another handicap accessible bus wasn't scheduled so she had to call a cab! Unfortunately Vets cabs do not have any wheel chair accessible cabs so she had to call Checker Cabs, and the service she received was absolutely disgusting! She sat in my store and waited over 2 HOURS for a cab!
We called multiple times to get an estimated time of arrival and were rudely informed the cab would arrive in 20 minutes each time! The fourth time I called I got so much attitude from the women on the phone that I asked to speak to a manager- who was also disgustingly rude!! He then informed me he can't give me an estimated time because they are busy! I told him his people have told me 20 minutes 3 times in the last 2 hours, he then responded that they are busy! I understand your busy.. But if youre that busy you shouldn't be lying about an estimated time or arrival.
This poor women waited over 2 hours just to get home.. And this was and usually is her only option!
So to checker cabs- the manager and employees who answer the phone- you are insanely rude and inconsiderate, I don't know how you run a business the way you do! To the women waiting for the cab- your patience is amazing, as you just sat there doing your crossword puzzle!

To the disrespectful person in the white car who cut us off when in the prescription line on our way to lay my best friends father to rest. Hope you feel good about your self for what you did. That was so disrespectful in so many ways. You could not wait a hole 5 min to let us go past to lay our loved one to rest. Your lucky I was in a car and not in your face. There would have not been no filter on my mouth. sincerely one upset family member.
