Good Bus Driver

This evening, my 8 yr old daughter and I were on the 1C (going into forest glade from the mall) and the bus driver that was driving was being trained on the route. She had a mini freak out because she was worried that we might get into an accident (because she was afraid the driver wouldn't know what to do)

The lady training him calmly reassured my daughter that they have training on busses and routes before they are even allowed to have passengers, and that nothing at all would happen.

Thank you for taking the time to calm my daughter's fears and not just brush it off.

Stacks on mother's day

I went to stacks on mother's day at around 2pm to treat myself to a mother's day brunch. When I went to pay my bill the waitress informed me that the young boy across from me had paid my bill as a random act of kindness. I couldn't help but tear up at this amazing gesture. He had left before me so I wasn't able to thank him. It really made my day and I will gladly pay it forward. To his mother on mother's day your have raised an exceptional young man. 😊

So sorry!

Last night around 9:00pm my husband and I were driving down Tecumseh rd and it was raining pretty bad out. All of a sudden we hit a huge puddle on the side of the road and looked up and we saw you on your bike on the sidewalk! You got splashed by our car big time! And then I looked back and saw all the cars splash you as well. We saw you at the last minute because it was so dark out. We wanted to stop and appologize but we did not want to cause an accident because it was really busy that night and there were so many cars. I just wanted to reach out (hopefully you see this) and let you know that it truly was a complete accident and we both feel terrible about it! We would never soak anyone on purpose! I know a lot of younger kids would because they think it's funny.....but this was not the case. I hope you got home safely and dried up quick!

You made me cry, Thank you

Spotted : To the two ladies walking into Devonshire Mall today from the Tim Hortons entrance after lunch. You stopped me to tell me how much you loved my hair and also complimented what my shirt said Girl Power

I got back to my car as quickly as I can so no one would see me burst into tears.

I've been divorced for 8 months now and my confidence has never been lower my whole life because of it. I was in a horrible situation and right now with some close family (Thank you, Mom and Dad) I'm slowly coming back out of my shell. I don't feel like I walk around confidently, but I've learned to act the part.

Anyways, I love you both. That simple comment and statement you made, and to stop me in the middle of the parking lot yo tell me. Well, you made my day, week, months.

Thank you so very much. I wish I had your confidence to go up to strangers and start talking, maybe one day soon I'll get it back.

A Huge Thank You

To Diana and Gus that were out walking on Sunday morning by Windsor Crossing and provided assistance to my daughter who had fallen while roller blading on the trail. They stayed with her until I arrived and called an ambulance when she started to lose consciousness. Words cannot express how grateful I am to them for keeping her safe and comfortable until help arrived. She is now on the mend and feeling much better. Thank you so very much for being there.

A good samaritan

A shout out to l'Essor grad and U of W business student Kyle Renaud for thoughtfully helping my wife and I out tonight. We were on our nightly walk around Beach Grove when the skies opened up and it started to hail on us. We flagged him down while he was driving by and asked for a ride home. He didn't hesitate and happily obliged. Even more impressive, when my wife and I got in the house I realized that I left my eyeglasses in his car. After searching him out on social media he insisted on bringing them over to me. You are a class act young man. Don't change a bit

Sweet Lady :)

On April 14th, 2018, I stopped to help an elderly lady as I witnessed the accident she was in. Nobody was injured in the accident. This lady was so sweet she just kept hugging me & thanking me for stopping to make sure she was okay & allowing her to use my phone to call the police & her husband as she was driving alone after doing groceries. After the police arrived, she came over to me with a paper & pen asking me to write down my information, I did. This morning I went to check my mail & this sweet lady took time to write me a thank you card along with a $10 Tim hortons card. If you somehow see this I just want you to know i really do appreciate the thank you card, I'm glad I was able to do whatever I could to help you. As I said, some people are just in the right place at the right time :) Your hugs & thank you's showed how much you appreciated my help. You just made my day!

- point of this post ..

There really are sweet people out there, people who appreciate the things you do & the kindness in your heart.

I had a procedure done at the hospital and it was the first of its kind for me. I was extremely nervous, but Cindy the nurse who was looking after me, went above and beyond to make me feel safe and really cared for. I just want to reach out and thank you for making such an impact on the quality of care I received. You really made me feel comfortable, cared for and thankful that we have such amazing people like you !
