Spotted : I just want to say I have never been given a card with money in it, someone who paid for my groceries, or even a free coffee. But what I have been given is hope. After reading everyday the Spotted in Windsor comments I have not only smiled but cried over some. This is an amazing idea sharing real stories about real people who truly care in Windsor, Great job SPOTTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first to the customer who insisted that I go in front of him in line because I just got done work after a very long and stressful night. Second to the customers who will hold the doors open for others no matter what kind of hurry they are in. last to all the customers who appreciated Tim Hortons workers & how much we try and remember your orders and go above and beyond our job.

Thanks

After running around with 3 boys in the back seat I stopped to get gas and once I tried to start the car ,it wouldn't turn over. Thinking "oh great what else is going to go wrong". With the day I was having where my emotions are high and a headache that was killing me I was thinking I give up.

Spotted : But then a kind gentleman stopped & tried to help figure why my car was not turning over. As he seen I was having a bad day..He told me just give it a few mins and then start it..I would like to say thank you for being kind as everyone else around me just looked. You took a few mins out of your day and I appreciated it. Your kindness today put a smile on my face.

Signed,
Mom with 3 boys in the back seat.

Spotted : To the woman who had a big hissy fit at the magic cuts on Tecumseh and George. You really made yourself look silly and rude. Perhaps you should rethink how you treat people when you're sitting in a stylists chair and she has scissors! Kudo's to the client sitting in the chair beside you when she dressed you down and you finally stopped! Tis the season people, have some patience and learn better communication skills.

I just wanted to say thanks to Sutherland Global Services for firing my girlfriend today, a mother of two young children five days before Christmas. This past month has been very difficult one for us. The kids having the flu, and being unfit for daycare she had to stay home and missed three weeks of work, turned around went back to work and then got the flu herself. She signed up to work all through the holidays including working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Year's Day just to make up some time and make up some money that she did not receive. She has not gotten a paycheck all month. She's trying to be a good parent and do what she can and because of all this time that the kids were sick she got "terminated" even upon providing proper documentation for why she was off with the kids. Clearly the "amazing" company that she worked for has no heart. (Point proven with the bed bug spraying incident last month) How can this company get away with this, specially this close to Christmas. What is she supposed to do for the kids? How is she to explain to her four year old that "Santa" was on a dollar store budget for Christmas this year.

Unfortunately, I found myself unemployed this Monday and was standing in line on Ouellette for a free turkey in order to feed my family.

Spotted : Some ladies from the Post Office across the street came by to chat with us about what we were lining up for. I told them and proceeded to chit chat with them. About 1/ 2 hour later they found me and several others in line again and gave us a card. They told us to come over to the post office they had something for us. They had gone and bought turkeys and gave them out to us. With tears in my eyes and gave them a hug and thanked them..... It never ceases to amaze me the generosity of Windorites today. Thank you ladies, you are truly wonderful people. xxxooo I will think of you all when I am feeding my family on Christmas day!
