Special thanks to the moron in this Excursion plough that was clearing snow on Sunday night at David Suzuki Public School on Raymond. It was 7:15pm, no other cars on the road, & you felt the need to pull out of the parking lot in front of me. I slammed on my breaks & slid on the ice, almost hitting you. When I honked to let you know I was there, you proceeded to slam on your breaks & block both lanes of traffic, not letting me & oncoming traffic pass. I hope you & the cops had a nice chat!!

you've been spotted!!!

Proud of my 10year old daughter who did and amazing job at her homework assignment from her social class. She was to do 5 good deeds, 2 at home and 3 with strangers.
She did four loads of laundry, sweep and mop our house. Then asked to be taken to the mall where she help 10 people in the food court put away all their food trays (she had finish her assignment) but then asked to go to tim's. Surprise...she gave the cashier her tooth fairy money and paid for the next few orders! Amazing how she when be on her assignment and made me one proud mama!

Hi, I don't know if you "spot" lost and found pets, but thought it was worth the try. We found this beautiful dog in the walkerville area tonight. Our neighbors, who own a dog and have far more experience with dogs, have him at their house until the Humane Society can pick him up. Can you share this to help us find his owner? Possibly a German Shepard, male, very friendly, very energetic. Shakes paw and sits. We really just want to find his family.

To my 85 year old neighbour Bob.

I saw you today shovel in your double lot driveway. I couldn't help myself. I had to come help you shovel.

I have never met anyone, in my entire life, who was so appreciative. Offering to pay me every time I shovel for you?!

Hell no!!!!

To the kid who actually took $120.00 to shovel their driveway for the entire season, who never came back....

SCREW YOU! You should be ashamed of yourself.

How dare you take from this elderly couple. Who raised you?

Bob; I doubt you will ever see this. I want you to know that I am here no matter what you need, and I will continue to help you out, for free!

Everyone reading this; if you know of an elderly neighbour who needs help, please help them. My dad at 73 years old suffered a massive heart attack and lived (thank whoever you will) please help those who need.

A small at of kindness and selflessness goes aing way.

Signed: a you'd girl who is battling the burden of winter as much as the next person.

I am a mother that is writing on behalf of the bullying post you just put up, My 9yr old Son is dealing with bullies at his Catholic School here in Windsor and has been for over a year, I have been to both the school and wrote the school board and nothing is being done. I have received we are taking care of the issues, and we have a no bully policy.. My child is at the point where he refuses to go to school because he is sad, my child is loving and still wishes to be friends with these children even after he has has his teeth curbed stomped out of his mouth, sprained arms bruises and whatnot the list goes on.. I ask that maybe you can share the story, because the school and teachers and boards chooses not to do anything. I know he is not the only one and other parents have done the same I am a tried parent of nothing being done. Children are being psychically and emotional abused by this, is there a end. Where else do parents turn and this is why children are hurting themselves and have had killed themselves. i have also taken pictures of my son and his injuries and got told its ruff behavior my son had layers or skin removed from his back and has had to have a replacement front tooth( that we will don't know if it will survive.) A upset Parent of the catholic system

I received a card today from someone I dont even know. I have very recently become a Breast Cancer SURVIVOR , This was a card of Congratulations. Inside she wrote to me she understood what I had been through and what was yet to come. She gave a little insight to her own journey and what made her feel better. This card and what she wrote brought tears to my eyes, and this card was from a stranger. it was signed Kathy ( a supportive cancer survivor) I have to say, Kathy Thank You!!!! It meant so much to me and I will pay it forward to another cancer patient. No one really knows till they have been there, And Kathy My song used to be "I was in my early forties,
"With a lot of life before me,
"An' a moment came that stopped me on a dime.
"I spent most of the next days,
"Looking at the x-rays,
"An' talking 'bout the options an' talkin bout sweet time."
I asked him when it sank in,
That this might really be the real end?
How s it hit you when you get that kind of news?
Now my song is ,
Honestly I wanna see you be brave!!!!!!

The Diocese of Wollongong Catholic Education Office's Student Anti-Bullying Policy was launched this year, in response to the growing concern in schools relating to bullying involving the use of communication and information technology.

Complementing the Student Anti-bullying Policy is the Anti-Bullying Learning and Teaching Education Resource (ALTER), a joint CEO and Office of the Bishop DVD production for use in primary and secondary schools.

Inspired and performed by students at three Catholic primary and secondary schools in the Diocese of Wollongong, this innovative video production uses their voice and experience to focus on the impact of bullying and provides practical strategies for youth to deal with this important issue. It is an engaging visual stimulus which challenges students to think positively, respond compassionately and act with courage when they are confronted with future incidents of bullying.
