Shame On You Shoppers Home Health Care

Shame on You Shoppers Home Health Care on Howard Avenue in Windsor, for having your tech men pick up my used 4 wheel mobility scooter for repairs, keeping it for over a year, sending it back to me supposedly fixed numerous times, and you chose to opt out and get rid of me and my problem, by telling me to pick up my product more or less and get lost. I might want to remind you that placing used product and telling me it was new and charging me, a disabled person, with nothing else to use as a wheelchair, top price over 1000.00 for repairs, shame on you, and by doing so, you will get caught up with, because I am probably not the only person you have and continue to rip off, thank you for helping your disabled people of Windsor. By the way I go somewhere else now where they are more honest.

Exceptional customer service

I was at the FreshCo at McDougall and Tecumseh, and I went in there for one item, and didn't think I needed a shopping cart. After realizing bottled water was on sale, I went to grab a case, and one of the employee's stocking the shelf (Shawn) came over to me, saying "Hang on a minute!" and proceeds to go get me a shopping cart, and places 2 cases of water in the cart (after asking how many I wanted) - He didn't stop there though. Once he seen I was done shopping and headed for the cash, he came over and lifted a case of water out of my cart onto the belt, then back into my cart!! This is customer service at it's BEST!!!! Shawn, you have been spotted!!!

Bullying in Southpoint hockey league

I think this story needs as much coverage as possible. Will you please share it in hopes more people are aware about this?

Southpoint Minor Hockey in Leamington has opened a second, more in-depth investigation into allegations of bullying against a 15-year-old house league player.

A committee of board executives and league officials will individually interview each player on a midget house league team this weekend at Leamington s Heinz Arena.

Fearing the abuse reaches beyond the one player who was initially punished, the committee will gather information about two incidents which allegedly occurred in January.

Josh Bluhm quit the team after he says he was locked in an arena washroom for 15 minutes on one occasion and then had his equipment trashed by teammates in the dressing room prior to a home game the next day.

Bluhm returned to the dressing room to find some of his gear stuffed in a dirty garbage can and some of his undergarments soaked, with teammates suggesting other players had urinated on the clothing.

A Little Hint To Summer Job Seekers - have manners

I was in the middle of a product demonstration at my hot tub & pool store in Tecumseh, when a teen entered with his resume in hand, walked right up to me and cut me off mid sentence and asked me if I was hiring for the summer.
What do you think of his chances of being hired?
When handing out your resumes for work, please have the manners to wait until the employer has the time to talk to you. Job seekers have to remember that they came into the store unannounced. Customers always come first at any business. Maybe call beforehand to ask if the stores are hiring and if you can set up a time to be immediately interviewed. Showing this amount of professionalism goes a long way and may set you apart from the pack of the unemployed.
In regard to the student that came in yesterday, let's just say that his resume is already in the recycle bin.
