Como's Pizza Rocks

Como's Pizza on Grand Marais and Dominion has the friendliest staff and the most reasonable priced pizza in the city. They go out of their way to make you truly feel welcome and appreciated. Their pizza is pretty darn good and cooked to perfection. Keep up the good work and your warm friendly attitudes. I always leave with a smile on my face and a fresh hot pizza in my hand.

Casino parking

Last night my wife and her mother went to the show at the casino. The parking garage was full so they paid ten dollars to park and were directed to park in a swamp, for their hard earned money. After the show (there was no one around of course lots were full already had all the money ) the van was buried in mud and the two women had no choice but to leave the van and walk through the terrible surrounding area, and I was left with a towing bill and repair bill from a board in the lot that got under and smashed some hoses causing a 200 dollar garage bill

To the gentleman who regularly gets his car washed at the stop on Goyeau:

It was brought to my attention that yesterday, after being told politely to drive your car to the entrance of the car-wash (and ignoring several signs explaining to do just that), you decided to order my friend around by demanding in a huffy tone, "why don't you just drive it in yourself?"

My friend calmly explained that he does not have his license yet, so, after rolling your eyes, you begrudgingly drove your own car to the entrance (congratulations on completing that arduous task). After the car wash, you then proceeded to tell my friend that he is a failure at life for working at a car wash and not having a license. When he tried to stand up for himself, you shouted at him and told him he probably just spent too much time "smoking weed" and laughed loudly before slamming your car door.

My friend has had a rocky life up until this point and, like myself, has had no parental help or guidance. He is currently upgrading his grades online to pursue university. He will get his license when he has the time, but chooses to focus on things that are more important at the moment. He has not done any drugs at any point in his life.

I am a strong believer in freedom of speech - but I do not agree that it should be used to degrade and disrespect people and their life choices. I am tired of witnessing and experiencing people acting high and mighty because they view employees as lesser people.

By the way, sir, you must be the pinnacle of success (and the perfect candidate to lecture people about life decisions); driving around in your impressive run-down dodge journey.

Sincerely,

Someone who is tired of people being disgustingly disrespectful.

Amazing Staff at Blinds to Go

This afternoon I brought my 3 kids to Blinds to Go (on Howard Ave.) the moment we got to the store my youngest was complaining of a sore belly, by the time we made it to the back counter my son threw up and unfortunately most of it landed on the carpet of this store. One of the workers immediately guided my son and I to the bathroom, gave him a cold bottle of water and offered him some crackers. Once my son was finished in the bathroom we found the other employee Halina, cleaning up after my son. I apologized for the mess and offered to clean and help her, she insisted on cleaning and remained very friendly during the entire time. Halina was such a genuine person, even when I apologized she said, "please don't apologize he's just a child". After leaving the store my kids kept saying how nice the ladies were and I definitely agree with them....ladies you have been spotted! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing my children that there are some wonderful people in the world!!!
