Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Hey everyone. Me and my boyfriend like to eat 'clean', and for that reason we don't eat out often, just wondering what are some of your favourite places to eat where you can get a relatively healthy meal that is delicious as well, or somewhere that has healthy options.
Thank You :)
I should be posting this on Spotted in London, however, I went into the Bell store at Masonville Place since my phone was giving me issues and I really like my LG Optimus Quantum phone that I got in 2011 from Devonshire Mall. The reason, I want this posted on the Spotted in Windsor site because the representative was from Windsor.
Sophie, I believe that was her name was so nice to me that she went out of her way to explain the different clearance phones since I was sold two phones last year that have slower processing speeds. I wanted to say that not only did she give me an honest opinion but since I have a talk and text plan with no data, she advised me of my plan options and on how to better negotiate a deal with Bell if I decide to UPG my phone. I advised her that I like my phone and want to keep a Windows phone and I am still on a contract, she gave me the technical support number and even wrote the number down for me and what was even better that the tech support number I was given was a business number (1-877-328-2123) which what I highly recommend people to call since the wait time is also not that long. The good thing as well when I called this number was that the call centre is in Canada as well.
She also high fived me since I was wearing at St. Clair College t-shirt (she said she was from Windsor herself) and that really made my day along with her personable approach for going online and explaining me the different phones and their speeds along with her honest opinions of these devices which made me appreciate the fact that she was giving me options rather than trying to sell me a device that I would have problem down the road which I have had with a couple of devices I currently own.
Once again, thank you so much Sophie and I hope your reading this since it was an awesome experience for me to go to the Bell store. Even though, the call centre agents were not the most helpful with the exception of one agent but at least you were helpful and that is what I appreciate the most.
Once again, thank you very much and I hope your parents are reading this since your a very honest person and its refreshing to read that there are honest salespeople out there. I even said to her that no wonder people from Windsor are honest and its nice she gave that credit to her parents. By the way, I hope your parents are reading this posting because I wanted to say that its great they have raised you right by being an honest and straightforward person. I have also attached the site as to where I found the phone number in case anyone wants tech support from the Business department.
From the guy that really likes his Windows Phones and I wish they had a more wider market with Bell.
Just wanted to share this story of a very honest young man. I own a convenience store and the other day a young man made his purchases with his friend and left but came back in shortly after with some paper money in hand.
He explained he had found it outside and that he wanted to turn it in.
My clerk took it, took down his name and phone number and explained that if no one claimed it in a few days, the money would be his. He said he "didn't feel right" taking it.
A few minutes ago, I called the number he had left and spoke to his mother and explained what had happened. She sounded a little relieved and said she was glad he had "done what she had taught him to do."
So kudos to the young man and his mother for raising him right. I hope he actually accepts the cash! He deserves it!
To the young lady who was waiting at the walk-in clinic today at Riverside Drive and Lauzon Rd. Thank you so much for letting me go ahead of you. I was waiting to take my mother, who has dementia, into the clinic this morning. Due to her dementia, it is really difficult for her to sit and wait and to understand what is really happening. This wonderful, kind and thoughtful young woman went up to the receptionist and told her to allow us to go ahead of her. Knowing how pecious everyon's time is, I want you to know how very much your kindness was appreciated………You've been spotted :)

Molly is our beautiful little orange female tabby. She went missing when she escaped out our front door on Friday , May 23rd. We tried to get her inside with the laser pointer, her treats etc. all to no avail. Saturday was spent searching for her in our Devonshire Heights neighborhood and we have yet to find her. She is spayed, and is wearing a purple collar with rhinestones. Please, if you have found Molly, she is very missed by the entire family including her 2 kitty brothers.
I just wanted to say that the people of Windsor/ Essex who came out to support the March Against Monsanto were doing this not only for themselves but to bring awareness to everyone that means saving lives and helping people live a fuller healthier life. Bringing awareness of GMO's -genetically modified foods to people and giving people a choice of what they eat (food labeling) and feed their families is something we should all have. This is what we marched for today! This march took place all over the nation today, the next one will be coming in the fall, find out more info at GMO Free Windsor Essex, also visit Givemeorganic for insight and also some info on organic and gmo- free where to buy in Windsor/ Essex
So disappointed and heart broken for my three year old son as we forgot his favourite toys at the St.Rose School play yard on Saturday May 24th at 12:30 pm. I went back tonight to get them however they were gone. I can't believe someone took them. If anyone finds a superman basket with two transformers and five car movie cars I would be so grateful as I have a very sad little boy who is missing his bedtime friends.
