I went grocery shopping at Zehrs on Manning Road today. My daughter (who is 1.5 years old) loves going there because she knows she'll be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy her complimentary cookie from the bakery! Around 4:15pm today I noticed a group of teenagers (15-16 years old) walk in to the store and 1 of them went straight for the bakery, which is right by the doors, quickly looked around to see that no one was looking and then proceeded to take ALL of the cookies from the complimentary box the people in the bakery put out for people to give to their children and RUN as fast as possible out the door! Seriously kid!? I'd be embarrassed if I was your mom!!! Those cookies are there for moms like me who need their kids to sit quietly for a whole 7 minutes while we power walk our way through the store to get everything on our list before our shopping companion begins to complain, loudly I might add, that it's time to leave! You want a cookie, take one...I don't care, but ALL of them!? I hope you got a stomach ache and had to sit on the toilet all night after eating 12 sugar cookies!!! YOU'VE BEEN SPOTTED!!!

Not many people are aware that many people in the service industry ( hair dressers, esteticains, massage therapists, ect) have to pay rent to be able to provide you with said services. When people do not show up or show up late its actually costing them money! Its also a waste of their time and potential. These are the people who make you look and feel better and deserve a bit of common courtesy. This is a busy time of year and will get busier for them. If you can't make it then let them know, they can't pay their bills with an "I'm sorry" or " I forgot". They are your local small business owners so let's all remember to keep our appointments, as we are all grown ups and should be able to with all the technology that we have.

Today my girlfriends and I got together for sunday brunch at marija's place on wyandotte. We chatted, shared stories and laught at one another paying little or no attention to the people around us. When our bill came the waitress explained that an older gentlemen who was a regular at marija's place gave her 20$ to put towards our bill, sharing that he loved the joy exploding from our table. I believe this act of kindness to be unselfish because dave never stuck around to hear our gratitude.

Spotted: I just wanna thank The Windsor Fire Department to responding to my 911 call at 1230am Sunday morning in forest glade. I smelled something burning and I couldnt figure it out. After a good 7-10 mins I called 911. I explained to dispatch that my husband and I were just watching TV when I smelled plastic or wire burning in the house. Then 4 or 5 trucks showed up on my street, within minutes sirens and lights going and of course the whole neighbour is outside to see what is going in the middle of the night. After several minutes and many good looking firefighters you found nothing. Thank you for installing another fire alarm to reassure me there wasnt a problem in my house and you were all so patient with me and my family. I was still worried about going to sleep and my house burning down. About 20 minutes later I could still smell it. My phone rang and it was my mother. I walked into the kitchen and lend about against the counter explaining her what had just happen to me. I felt like I was just crazy. Then all of the all of the sudden I notice the counter was unusually hot. I screamed for my husband and opened the dishwasher. There was the answer to my nightmare. A tupperware container was burnt to a crisp and plastic was melted all over inside my dishwasher. Thank you for making me feel crazy BUT I knew something was burning in my house.

Thus morning my family and I were having breakfast at a restaurant on manning Rd. My son was looking out the window and started saying " Mommy what's that baby doing? Where is his mom?" I looked out the window and there was a Toddler crossing manning Rd ALL ALONE!! I tried running out of the restaurant but a lady that was riding her bike ran to his rescue. A short time after that his mother or care giver came. KUDOS to the lady on the bike for risking her life running Into the traffic to save this little boy. I am was so relived that he was safe. To his mother or care giver (not sure) I hope this is a lesson learned to NEVER EVER let kids out of your sight not even for a SECOND. This situation could have been ugly . YOU ARE VERY LUCKY THAT NOTHING HAPPENS TO THIS KID.

On Saturday around 11 pm my son and I came back from preseason hockey game. This time we decided to take tunnel bus, once we exited the border my son and I proceeded to catch the cab. As we were waiting by pizza pizza place my son flagged the cab to which veteran cab came to stop and asked us to step in. At that moment I observed a young female sitting in front and cab driver asking us again to step into the vehicle. I was little bit puzzled because it didn't appear that the female was about to exit the cab. Once my son and I entered the car the female said that she is going to casino. I was really pleased with her kindness as not too many customers would agree to ride the rest of their trip with unknown people. During this short ride the female asked about the game to which my son was edger to talk about. Once we arrived at the casino valet parking the female pulled the money and asked the driver if he can break 100$ bill, he replied that he only had 50$ bill. The young female asked a cab driver to give her back 50$ bill and with rest of the money cover our fare. At that moment, completely in shock I looked at the female and said "girl..you can't do that". She quickly exited the cab with big smile. As she started to walk towards the casino the cab was already in the driving motion not giving me a chance to thank her personally. So I stuck my head out of the window and yealled " thank you". To this wonderful young female : YOU HAVE BEEN SPOTTED :) Thank you very much for your kindness, you have big heart!!! God bless you and your family. I'll never forget you and I hope that one day I can pay you foward. Also, I would like you to to know that your patents did amazing job rising you :) You showed my son and I good spirit. I hope you had great night and you won lots of money :) Once again big THANK YOU :)

I went out downtown last night with my buddy. I was at the loop. It was the only place I went to. I had my keys clipped to my belt loop. When i got home the key ring with my car keys and 4 other keys ( including the keys to my apartment) were gone. If anyone has found a key ring with a black pontiac key, about 4 other house keys and a black bike lock key please let me know as they are mine and they fell off my key clip some time in the night.
