Bad Parenting Moment?

Walker Road SuperStore. Leaving the store and see a 3 year old boy running around the parking lot alone. Chase him down and bring him to customer service where his ignorant mother (who was still shopping at the time) starts yelling at the child for disappearing. All the while showing no sign of relieve or gratitude for finding him. Your welcome for saving your child from being kidnapped or run over. Maybe look for your child next time instead of continuing to shop for 10 minutes. Sincerely a girl who almost had a heart attack and it wasn't even my kid.

Blind Man In Need of A Helping Hand

I recently had a slip and fall accident at my place of work. As a result I sustained injury and had to seek medical attention. While I was sitting in the waiting room at the hospital I noticed an older gentleman, about 70-80 years old, blind and with a walking stick get up and proceed outside. Although he struggled to find the door he made it through the emergency exit to have a smoke. However he could not get back in. He kept bumping into the windows and walking in the wrong direction. He could not find the entrance back inside. An entire room full of people sat and watched this man struggle instead of getting up to help! Had I not been injured I would have gotten up myself. It was my mother who got up, walked outside, brought the man back in and got him settled in his seat. It was really disturbing to me that all of these able bodied adults sat and watched this man struggle. We were sitting at the back of the ER waiting room and it was noticeable that this man was struggling and stuck outside.

What was even worse is that the security guard was too busy playing on his cell phone to notice and when he did notice he didn't get up out of his booth and lead the man in. No one offered him a wheel chair or a helping hand.

I hope that none of those people sitting in the waiting room ever loose their vision and need assistance. It's a lonely world when everyone just looks out for themselves.

Red head in red Cobalt.

My & my fiance decided to go visit the river this afternoon around 5pm. But when we got there we found it a little bit chilly to go walk. So we stayed in the car and enjoyed the scenery. I looked beside my and seen a young red headed lady crying. She was parked in a red cobalt. I felt so bad I could practically feel her pain. You cried for about 10 minutes and continued crying while I left. I wanted to come talk to you but you were busy in a call. I just wanna say that no matter what you are going through will pass. I know times may get hard and you feel alone, but I was there. You truly touched my heart. I'm so sorry for whatever reason you were crying for. You have been spotted I hope your day has gotten better since. From the girl driving the white Chevy Cruze

Helping the Homeless ?

Hey Windsor.
Have you ever wondered how you can get Involved? Or how you could make a huge difference in someone's life? Perhaps someone who is less fortunate than you. This idea actually came from a video I watched on Facebook, maybe some of you have seen it, or ones that are similar. Goes like this.
2 guys pretended to be hungry, but didn't have enough money to purchase food. They decided to approach people who were eating slices of pizza, and ask if they could have some. Of course nobody was willing to give up a slice. Towards the end of the video, they bought a pizza and gave it to a man who was actually homeless. The man was more than grateful. Later one of the guys returns and asks the homeless man if he may have some pizza. The homeless man without questioning handed him the box. Because of this the guy thanked the homeless man, and proceeded to hand him a handful of cash. Point of the video was that the only one who offered up food was the homeless man himself!
This got me thinking, why not do this in my own city? Maybe start a chain reaction, and shed better light on those people. What I would like to do is get a team of people together and organize a help the homeless day. I'd like to pick a shelter for men and women, and donate pizzas, coffee, food, clothes, anything we can think of.
I know it may be a lot to ask, but I promise it will be rewarding even for you! And they will also be forever grateful. They'll never forget how kind a group of people can be. I know there are people out there who have done similar things, and I am also reaching out to you.
If you are interested, leave a small comment and I will contact you myself through Inbox. I have already got a couple people who are interested in doing this, but the more help the better.

Found Lost Dog

My kids found a dog today with no tags but he has a collar on, in the Devonshire Heights area of Windsor. He is a friendly guy although full of slobber LOL. He is currently in our back yard but we cannot bring him inside because we have cats that are freaking out. If you know who this wonderful fellow belongs to please have them contact us at grondinbw@hotmail.com or comment on this post.
