Went into Staples at Legacy Dr looking for one of the new oversized iPads. Found it, and then while I was checking out, it was discovered that the product in the box was actually a display model and couldn't be sold bc of the loads of extra software on it. A call to the other Staples location found one for us (the last one between here and Toronto) , but while getting things sorted out, my blood sugar suddenly dipped dangerously and I began to have all the classic symptoms of a crash- sweating, dizziness, grey colour. etc The staff (namely Faisal and Sam, and a young trainee) were amazing. They got me my daughter, a cold bottle of water appeared in my hand and Faisal decided he would go, himself, to the other location and get the iPad, bring it back and set everything up.
My kids and I left to get me sorted out, while this was happening, and upon our return, the first question was for my health and did I need anything.
A big congrats to these 2 staff members for their genuine care, their expertise with their products and the friendly way they connected to all of us as the transaction was finished.

I had to bring my son into the emergency department because one of his ears was bleeding from his tubes that just got put in. Dr.chris was the emergency doctor working this morning and I would just like to say you are going to be a great doctor!!!! As being a worried mother I didn't think to speak these words out loud and to you personally but when I reflected on our experience with you it was a great one. You stated you were new and discussed with me what you thought but when you were not 100% sure you called another doctor who had more speciality with ears and you found the answer and didn't make a guess. Your bedside manner is how mother/ parents want to be treated. You were honest and got answers even though you weren't certain yourself. Keep up the good work

On my way to Windsor this morning the tire warning came on in my vehicle. I thought I was just a little low on air so I decided to stop in at the Walmart on Dougall to see if they would add air to my tire. When they checked the tire you could hear the air coming out and I was driving with the tire really low. Walmart employee, Brandon in the Auto Care Department went well above his job. He was very helpful even though they were really busy he fit me in and took the time to show me the nail in my tire, fixed the problem and away I went. Thank you Brandon and Walmart Autocare for your help at a time in need.

I am a cast member of Evil Dead: The Musical with Extension-Korda productions and I just wanted to let you know about an amazing event we have happening tomorrow with Canadian Blood Services. Since the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical wastes so much blood onstage, Korda Artistic Productions has decided to give back offstage. We are encouraging the people of Windsor-Essex County to come out to our blood drive and also meet the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical!

Cast members will be on-site at 3909 Grand Marais Rd E tomorrow (July 12th) from 3:30pm - 7:00pm for a meet-and-greet and our team will be doing a group blood donation at 6:00pm.

Today while at glenwood public school I spotted a ridiculous amount of garbage scattered all over the lawn by the trees in the yard. Recently we have seen a large group of teenagers hanging around, and I have previously seen them leave a ton of garbage there. Beyond disrespectful to the school and the faculty. If this reaches the ones who are responsible, a word of advice: learn to pick up after yourself. You're old enough to know better. Learn some respect for your community.

I'm an RN at Windsor Regional Hospital in the Emergency Room Department. Last night the owner of "Sweet Revenge" bake shop brought in boxes and boxes of baked good for the ER staff. She was not a patient. She was just doing a kind deed for the hard working staff of our department. To saying it was appreciated would be an understatement. My coworkers and I work 12 hr + shifts and that cupcake was the little pick me up we needed. Thank you "Sweet Revenge" bake shop!

I went to the Tim Hortons on walker road by the airport on Sunday July 9th around 6ish and when I went into the washroom with my niece we found a girl in the stall unresponsive. I was just wondering if the girl was okay or if anyone has any information. Ambulance were called.

A vehicle driving on riverdale towards the villages of riverside lost 2 life jackets out of their boat while we were driving towards riverside dr! We tried to wave you down but you must not have seen us. We got your 2 life jackets off the road and tried to chase you but lost you rather quickly lol! Checked a few streets in the villages but couldn't find your boat! I'm on foxhill, I have them with me to return to you!!!
