Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted : I was entering Devonshire mall a few days ago from the entrance by Moxies when I saw an elderly woman struggling with her bags. She would take a few steps and drop her heavy bags and try to pick them up again. There was a large group of young people standing/ sitting on a bench right next to where this poor woman was trying her best with her shopping bags. Not a single one of them, nor many of the people passing her offered to help. Some of them even looked directly at her but failed to do anything about the situation. Where are your hearts people? If we spent a little less time texting and updating Facebook statuses on our phones we could help brighten someones day with the simplest gesture. The older woman was so sweet and grateful, my heart broke that more people did not jump at the opportunity to walk 20 feet out of their way to help her. Please keep your eyes out for the sweet eldery that may need a hand this holiday season! Thanks! - A disheartened shopper
Spotted: To Jeff, a Spotless car wash costumer driving a light blue van, Thank you for bringing coffee for all the employees. It's freezing out here, we needed it. You're an amazing and thoughtful person.
Signed: A happy employee.

Spotted : To the 2 ladies who helped me with my 3 young kids today at Lanspeary Park.....THANK YOU for your help....It was completely overwhelming for me and I was lost LOL...your help was SO MUCH APRECIATED.
Also to the volunteers of Knobby's kids.....your hearts are big especially to be out in such cold helping kids get an experience they might not otherwise have!
You have all been SPOTTED!!!!
Thank you isn't enough!
From an exasperated momma!!!! LOL :)
At the Cgi Christmas party at Caesars Windsor last night, there was a younger blonde lady tending the bar. She was complete misery. I went out of my way several times to say thank you and smile when she served me. She didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was talking to her. You may not like your job, but they pay you to be polite. Merry Christmas to you! I hope whatever you are going threw gets better.
Signed: Disappointed I couldn't get a smile.
Spotted: to the guy that called my store yesterday
I am very sorry that the developers give out special editions for those who pre-order their video games. It sucks, but it's how they lure us gamers into pre-ordering. I am sorry that we only had non pre-order copies available for walk-ins. And finally, I am sorry to have shared this information with you. However telling you what you don't want to hear does not stem from me having a vagina. Nor my vagina render me unqualified for a job in the gaming industry that I have held for 5 years. Granted I have reduced hours because I work full time in health care, but I digress. I don't know what outcome you were looking for by asking me if you could "speak to a guy." as that guy, despite being my manager, has the same stock information that I do. In fact, when I told you that, and handed the phone to him, he told you the EXACT same thing I did.
Signed,
Utero-Canadian video game sales associate.
This van jumped the tracks on Jefferson and south national, smoked a tree luckily rather then the persons house, the person then got out of the van and ran down the tracks, hope you didn't have your kids in the van,
