To the cute security guard at Met Hospital:
Thanks for always making my day with your bright smile and fake pout when I tell you "no". Here's hoping you know you have been SPOTTED!

Spotted : My favourite uncle, who passed away on Wednesday night after a lengthy battle with ALS. You were robbed of the ability to eat, and the ability to speak. Three weeks ago, a caregiver asked you what the downsides of your disease were. No longer able to speak, you wrote this note:

"Downsides: I cannot speak.
I cannot eat.
I love life.
And when my time comes, I will still be smiling"

Thank you for sharing those wonderful words of wisdom with those of us who must now face the holidays without you. You enjoyed your life until the very last moment, and proved to us that it is not the years in your life, but the life in your years. We plan to display a copy of this note in a prominent place in our home, to remind us that if you could remain so positive and happy knowing what your future held, surely we can choose to be happy in the face of our obstacles as well.

Love your inspired niece

Spotted : To the lady driving the black SUV on Howard this afternoon. You were texting and driving and weren't looking at the road. I had my young child in the vehicle and you were all over the road as you laughed at that "important" text. I was in the passenger seat so I was able to count to 5 seconds that you didn't look up at the road. When you were honked at, you shot us 'the finger'. Please know that your actions can cause a death or injury of someone else or even yourself. Be careful!

Spotted : To the lady in the black Cadillac at the timmies on wyandotte and lauzon around 4pm today...on a day when I've been struggling with some people in life not being able to grasp the fact that it truely is the little things that count. You, a complete stranger put a smile on my face and filled a void with such a tiny gesture. Thank you for buying my coffee, I paid it forward instantly and bought for the next car and hope it brightened their day, even just a lil!! :-)

Spotted : to the person who gave a surprise. My son and his date were at Jose's lst night when the waitress came over to them and told them what they ordered up to $60.00 was paid for by someone in the restaurant. What a nice gesture!! They spent $30.00 and the rest was a tip....pay it forward:)

Spotted : To the amazing customer that came into Canadian tire on walker road and gave me this. A simple gesture such as looking for your purse meant so much to you. I'm glad I could brighten someone's holidays. Merry Christmas :)

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me information on how to go about helping out with giving meals on Christmas Day. I would live to do this with my husband and 2 kids who are 14 and 16. Any information would be great

Spotted : want to say a special thank you to Louie's produce market on cabana and Howard . I had no idea they didn't have debit yet, so while checking out I figured it out. Scrounging through my purse for whatever cash I had, I came up short and didn't even grab my potatoes I needed . The very friendly cashier said " don't worry about it, go grab your potatoes, and we'll figure it out." I did exactly that, gave him what cash I had on me, and he replied with, " have a nice day , and I hope to see you again". With that I responded With " I promise I'll pay it forward , and I'll certainly return" Thank you to that guy who made my day.

Signed
A happy shopper
