Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted : To the woman in the black car who sped out of Walmart parking lot in the east end at 12:40pm thank you for almost hitting me!!! Maybe if you get your bluetooth out of your ear and pay attention this wouldnt have happened.
Signed the girl who YELLED merry Christmas even though you almost hit me
Spotted : Just wanted to say thanks to the woman who made all of us wait in the freezing wind today at the bus stop on ouellette and wyandotte because she wanted to smoke in the bus shelter that is clearly marked "no smoking"
To the wonderful employees at Starbucks (on the corner of Ouelette and University),
Thank you for loving your job! You've been making my mornings so upbeat and happy. Keep doing what your doing! Your Starbucks has the friendliest staff at any fastfood/ coffee shop I've ever been too!
Thanks for making my semester so much better!
Sincerely,
A thankful St Clair student at the mediaplex.
To the person that took their time to mail me my drivers license back. I lost my ID while biking down prince road last week. You're a life saver for mailing me my ID back!
I wish there would have been a return address, I would have personally thanked you.
Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
You've been spotted!
Spotted : This morning a birth certificate was found at the mcdonalds in walmart on the east end it belongs to a male if you've lost it or you know who it is please come in to pick it up I have left it in the back with a manager .
Spotted : Thank you to the Central 3 bus driver at Crawford and Grove that actually waited for me as I ran to the bus stop!
Spotted : To the Windsor Police who came to my house tonight to investigate an attempted B& E, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You did your job and well, but you adding a dash of humor in an otherwise stressful situation was exactly what I needed at the moment! I wanted to share how much I appreciated their character, professionalism and humor and thought I would share in a day when we usually only hear bad publicity!
Spotted : As a young PSW that works in a nursing home where we are taken for granted and where our opinons don't matter because we arent management or registered staff it was nice to see the post about the psw who brought her dogs in on her day off to make the residents happy, it gave me a little hope and showed me that not all psw's go unnoticed :)
