To whoever brought my phone to customer service at Sears on Friday Nov 10th, GOD BLESS YOU! There were irreplaceable pictures on there that weren't backed up. Thank you so much for your honesty and kindness.

'Pay it forward' Ming wah's Windsor

So it was date night with my girls. We went and seen my little pony. Then dinner at the Chinese buffet. When I went to go pay they said it was taken care of. I asked what do you mean? The waitress said 'pay it forward someone seen you with your kids and paid the bill' I of course got shakey and started to cry. We all hit hard times and finances aren't the best when trying to support two children alone and I've had my rough patches. You certainly don't always think positive and that simple things matter but tonight gave me a better outlook on life. Whoever you are thank you from me and my daughters.

Dear Pervert

You were at the east end Wal-Mart Thursday, November 9th around 7:30pm. You had on a dark blue hoody, covering the large tattoo on your upper left arm. You're a big dude, roughly 6'3" maybe 240 lbs? You know I was there too because you saw me and your eyes hit the floor. You may recognize me as the girl you exposed yourself to months ago at my place of employment. But now I, my boyfriend, and hopefully everyone within ear shot of me will recognize you as well, as the pervert you are. You see, maybe you think showing your junk to unsuspecting people is thrilling, but I am here to tell you it's disgusting. And illegal, which I'm sure you're aware of as I filed a police report the minute you drove off last summer. They took the plate number of your shiny black pick up (a Ram perhaps?) and your description as well. I don't have much faith in your prosecution as you're out and about, with a woman at that! I wonder if she knows what kind of person you are? Had I not had my children with me I would have gladly told her, but I have a rule about keeping my kids as far away from perverts as possible. I am posting this in hopes of someone recognizing your description and realizing what a scum bag you are.
Sincerely, every woman you've ever harassed in your life.

Stand with the students

COPIED FROM STAND WITH STUDENTS PAGE

Province Wide Student Rally the 14th, 15th & 16th on local college campuses to make our issues as students heard. It is important PSS (Post-Secondary Students) are unified in our goal for this rally. At this time this is our "platform," if you have any edits, suggestions, comments, concerns with this platform please feel free to comment!

Post-Secondary Students Issues:
- Compensation for lost time (4 weeks of our lives have been wasted)
- Reimbursement of Fees Paid (Including tuition, SA fees, parking passes, lockers, textbooks that were rented (not outright purchased) etc.)
- Students should have a say on how we go forward from this strike. Students are split on how WE want to see our semester saved. WE WANT THE OPTION TO CHOOSE, (depending on our college/ campus, year, program, etc.) to EITHER;

a) Restart this semester in January (or if that is not possible, continue with next semester as planned and redo this semester in September.)

OR

b) Condense & complete this semester, FREE OF ALL CHARGES! Put the money we have paid in tuition for this semester towards next semester, or reimburse students leaving/ graduating.

Concerns:
- If we restart our semester, will we lose the ability to submit the work we have completed thus far this semester? Or if we do re-submit assignments next semester, will we be flagged as plagiarizing our own work?
- If we condense the semester we will not be receiving the same education we paid for;
- We paid for 15 (or 7-1-7) weeks of a course, not 15 weeks of work condensed into 10 weeks.
- We paid to have a professor teach us in a classroom, with effective resources and learning tools, not to have to struggle teach ourselves in our school libraries with administrative staff trying to do a job they aren't paid or educated to do.
- We paid for the opportunity to have in-class discussions, to do projects and presentations, in addition to the assignments and textbook modules we have been independently working on for the last month.

**Please note that fees outside of the colleges control will not be addressed at this time, as the living-costs incurred are both subjective and circumstantial. We are still looking a legal options for financial restitution however we all seem to agree the biggest concern for us as students is getting back into the classrooms, and receiving the education we paid for.***

Dear COLLEGE Teachers

Dear College Teachers,
I am a single mom, and a student of yours. Like many others, I look to OSAP for help to better myself for my children. As the days pass us by with uncertainty when we will return to classes again I am not going to sit here and harp on you about where this disruption has my life at this very second, that's a letter for the College Employer Council and Ontario's Ministry of Advanced Education in my opinion.
This letter is one of Thanks!
Thank you, for standing up for your fellow
Teachers who deserve the same rights as you have.
Thank you, for standing up for us students who deserve to receive a well thought out, prepared and delivered with passion education.
Thank you, for continuing to show up even as the temperatures drop to teach us even in the coldest days there's still something worth fighting for.
Thank you, on behalf of my children who will one day grace the halls proud to be supported by the strength and passion which is you.
Thank you, for fighting the urge to answer us students who are tirelessly emailing and messaging you for answers we know you too are looking for.
Thank you!

As we come closer to these three special days next week when you will attend, log in or which ever other means you have accessible to you in order to cast your vote, please don't be pressured by those of us who don't understand the big picture, please consider not only what you're voting on but also what you may be voting against.

Yes it's been a restless 5 almost 6 weeks and if it must continue, so be it.

You are brave. You are appreciated. You are the shape of OUR future!

School Bus vs Unsafe Driver

Well, it happened again! Two days in a row. Wednesday morning a red car, driving without defrosted windows nearly drove through the stopped school bus. Bright yellow bus, stop sign out, red lights flashing! Ridiculous! Take the time to defrost your windows!!!! You could have hit children!!!
Today, another unsafe driver (black SUV) that did wait behind the bus. My kids boarded, (it takes a few seconds to get a seatbelt on). This impatient driver passed the bus as it was pulling away from the stop. Accerated around the bus, driving WAY too fast. Oh yeah, this SUV was driving fast towards another bus stop. These kids were waiting on the corner by a park for their bus.
I have contacted the police and sent in Road Watch Reports. Next time photos will be taken and shared with the police. You've been warned.

Thanks for your service

To the Veteran at the east end Wal-mart on Wednesday night. I wanted to buy the veteran pins from the table they had there, I try and buy a new 1 every year and to my surprise and delight, the gentleman said would you like this 1 I have on. I said with such appreciation will you really do that and with that he undid it off his jacket and gave it to me. Wow not only do I appreciate his all time sacrifice for our country which shows beyond belief, but for the thoughtfulness that he still has today. Thanks for all you did and still do for our country God Bless you my friend.
