Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
My friend who just published a photo book on Windsor and Essex County!
Spotted: I recently moved on Dormar Drive and have received such a warm welcome from many neighbours on the street! I would especially like to thank my neighbours who quickly came to my rescue a couple of times this morning to dig me out and push my car for me. Thanks so much!

Spotted in Lakeshore:
THANK YOU to the gentleman with the backhoe who put me out of my misery Monday afternoon when I was trying to shovel out of an avalanche while my baby had a nap. You saved the few working muscles I have left after this torturous snowfall. Very much appreciated from the new neighbour. You are a Good Samaritan, indeed.
Family Hair Care salon owner spotted the bus driver door stuck. I ran out with my shovel and helped them closing the door.
My wonderful husband spent the morning digging out our neighbors. He did our house, then four other neighbor's. My husband suffers from a brain tumour, and would never let that stop him from helping others. Way to go babe!! You've been spotted.
Spotted : In the midst of all the people driving safely and carefully this morning, and all the good works being done helping out neighbours - still there was ONE idiot in a Pontiac. Yes, you're the one - who felt it was their entitlement to turn left on Howard at Tecumseh (right under that pesky NO LEFT TURN sign) to get into the Tim Hortons. Yes, you were spotted! Sadly my mittens prevented the actual finger from being properly displayed. Come on people! Were you raised by wolves? The entire world does NOT revolve around you.
Spotted : Woke up this morning to see snow drifts and alloy of snow out there. When out to shovel and my senior neighbor came over and offered me a hand. We finished my driveway and we did the sidewalks. I looked across the street and my old fella neighbor George was completely buried in snow drifts and has a long driveway. I yelled out to my other neighbours shoveling hey let's give George a hand. So together after half an hour we got him completely cleaned out he was extremely grateful. But my pet peeve is this, the man next-door has a big snowblower watch this all of us do this work and yet stood there. Sometimes as neighbors we may not get along but this kind of weather is very taxing on our seniors it's a good neighbor that helps out and puts differences aside on days like today. Just my thoughts.
