Dear inconsiderate driver in the white Honda suv at the corner of tecumshe and birthday today around 1pm.
The big white trailer 2 cars ahead of you turning into the esso was a horse trailer.
There were live horses in it !!!
You honked your horn at the cars in front of you because they slowed to allow the driver to make a wide turn into the esso (because he has to make a wide turn for the SAFETY of his very precious passengers .
Your horn could have startled the horses. Quite possibly causing them to tip over the trailer while in a panic.
Thankfully this did not happen.
The next time YOU are not paying attention think twice about using your horn.
Lazy tree trimming service!
Thank you tree trimming service for leaving a giant branch in the power lines and a huge mess in our driveway. Man I would Love to make make as much as these guys and only do half the work.
A Statue from Windsor's Sculpture Garden seems to be missing. Is it being repaired?
Did the ice bend its support causing it to fall in to the River?
Someone has to know.
A message to customers: please remember when you are talking to a Salesperson that they often work on commission. Don't promise you'll come back if you're not (even if it makes you feel better). I spent my time and gas this morning before work picking up products a customer wanted from me, only to check his account and find that he went to visit another store, and gave them his business instead. It's very frustrating to know that he could have simply called me or told me on his way out that he was going somewhere else and to not bother going out of my way for him.
Signed,
A frustrated Salesgirl
I have followed this site since it had close to 900 followers. You have come a long way and I enjoy everything I have come across on this page. I will be honest though after reading every pay it forward story I thought, that has never happened to me. I wish I had a story to share or tell but I didn t, until today. I didn t have the greatest life growing up. My father was very busy with work and my mom hardly made time for us kids. With both of them working we spent a lot of time alone growing up. In school I used to get picked on a lot because my lunch was always so plain and boring. My clothes weren t cool or matching and sometimes I d get sent to school with dirty clothes. My parents were both working but it was still hard with 4 kids, and I know they did the best they could have with the situation. Grade 4-8 were rough years for me, had 1 true friend and even she turned on me to join the cool kids. Anyways, growing up didn t get any easier. When I was 14 I was picked on all the time. Smelly Sally, Stinky Sally (I showered every night) and other very hurtful names. We moved away when I was 17 because my father got a better job out west. Things changed and I was also working while going to school so I was able to buy a lot of my own stuff with little to no support from my parents. I went to school and finished University and got a great job right after. I moved back to Windsor about 2 years ago and I love being back. So what this story is all about is the following. My husband and my kids. I realize now that I did have something like a random act of kindness happen to me. I am married and happily at that. My kids are amazing and we sit with each other almost every night watching a movie or talking about our lives with each other. To my family, thank you for making me such a happy person and I love you all.
So to everyone who used to pick on me or if you ever picked on someone and still do I have a few words for you. But, it s not worth it because I like where I am in life. I don t need to think negative of anyone or put down anyone to make myself feel better. I encourage everyone or anyone who witnesses bullying to stand up for the person getting bullied. Spotted, keep sharing these stories, I love what you are doing with the site.
URGENT: Remember Ozzie? He is the very sweet male liver and white husky, approx. 2 years old that was posted on Kijiji early December 2013 to be rehomed. Mainly due to negative responses to the ad, the owner took it down and decided to keep Ozzie despite the fact that he had a very serious and out of control skin condition which was so itchy he chewed and scratched himself constantly. Well Ozzie is now at the WIndsor Essex Humane Society and he needs our help to save his life! As a result of his skin condition, the entire bottom portion of his body is completely bare, raw and emits a horrible odour. Ozzie is on medication to sooth the itching and has to wear a cone, but is calmer. The medical staff has ruled out mange which is highly contagious, but they need to run tests to find out the cause of his condition so it can be treated. Tests, treatment and Ozzie's lengthy stay will be a costly process. However, a vet who specializes in this has agreed to do consults with WECHS as he believes this is a common condition that is highly and easily treatable. That is why we are reaching out for donations to go to WECHS to go towards Ozzie's medical and daily care needs until he can be put up for adoption. The alternative for Ozzie is euthenization. We have set a goal of $2500.00 on this fund although it may be somewhat more or less than is required. If all the money is not required for Ozzie's care, the money will be donated to WECHS to help other animals in need. No amount of donation is too small. Every little bit will help. Please donate via Paypal, online at WEHCS website or in person and save Ozzie's life. Thank you.

I was going to my godmothers who lives on Ouellette, so I have to park behind the building on Pelissier. When I went to get change to put money in the meter I had none. So I made a quick run into the variety store to get change. When I came back I saw a young man about 22-23 feeding my meter. Oh, thanks I said, I just went on to get some change. No problem he says, I put enough in for 1 and 1/ 2 hours, is that enough. Thanks so much I said, I will give it back to you but he refused. I didn't want to see you get a ticket. What a nice guy. Don't meet many like that.
