Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This would be awesome in Windsor! I live in Pillette Village area and there is a step up in *almost* every store!
I usually shop at the market square on Ottawa street every weekend. There are many very pleasant venders there and usually very fresh. I normally got kabobs and sausage and stuff like that from Romanos at the market. I recently took a plunge and tried something from them called the bacon explosion. My goodness it was amazing. And they have a lot of other awesome ready to cook preseasoned things there. I can't wait to try their hamburgers next. I love this place and just wanted to spot them in hopes they continue with the amazing food creations and keep making my life easier.
Signed a FULLy satisfied customer.
I recently read a post on here spotting a local business for their wonderful customer service at Louis' Produce Market on Howard Ave at Cabana. I didn't even know this business existed until then and it's only 3 minutes from my home. I went in there today and told him how I had learned of his business. Louis is very humble and grateful for being previously spotted. I want to spot Louis again for being such a kind man and for giving outstanding customer service. I am happy to support local and even happier that I have a new place to shop for my produce. Very reasonable prices here too. Please stop in and visit him. You have been spotted Louis!!
Congrats to Art Van furniture delivery drivers for blocking the road and unwillingness to move!
Seriously
I was at Met hospital the other day in the emergency it was packed and as usual the nurses had attitude I know they get frustrated as do we the patients waiting to see a doctor. This continued all night with the nurse I had but thanks to shift change a new nurse came in her name is Kristie she was so nice and helpful and I appreciate that the last thing a sick person needs is a nurse with a bad attitude so Kristie you have been spotted keep up the good work signed a thankful patient
Thank you to the folks who removed the snow on our street last night- great job! I only ask that if you could somehow avoid leaving a foot and a half of ice and snow at the end of our driveways it would be greatly appreciated.
Please help is spread the word. On Christmas Eve, my best friend, who is 27 years old, has three young boys, and recently married; was told she had lymphoma. Heather is still battling to this day and there's a fundraiser taking place tomorrow with drinks, food, tons of prizes. Please give back a little. Heathers dedicated her whole life to helping others. Time to pay it forward and help heather !
