Many thanks to the wonderful woman in the grey Ford Focus who bought my breakfast at McDonalds on Walker this morning. Your simple act of kindness goes far beyond the value of my coffee. I've quit drinking alcohol recently and and an incredible side effect of my sobriety has been recognizing the importance of exercising kindness at all costs. As a result, my eyes have opened up to the seemingly inconsequential gestures of kindness that go unnoticed every single day.
