So tonight I'm scrolling through my new feed and I come across a shared post from my friend about this local girl who is getting big name authors [I looked them up] and locals to give free signed books to auction off so that she can go buy food for our food banks that are having struggle right now. Names Gracie Wilson and she's doing this event until the 13th so that she can go buy that week and fill the shelves right before holidays. As a single mom with no help I use them and to know they closing wow just awful because we all need help sometimes. she's doing things like dollar donations get you entered into a draw she's giving her stuff away as free things for coming to her event online. Best believe I'll be sitting at my computer. I use the banks so I know what it's like and to see someone who's admitted she never stepped foot in one but wants to help is a no brainer for me.
