Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
On Tuesday morning you stole my wallet out of my car I didn't see that I had left the back window down and you were watching me leave the car without a purse, you took advantage and only stole the wallet and for that you are a POS, but for that I want to say Thank You. Odd you say, well you opened my eyes to the fact that as a woman I carry every piece of identification known to man in that wallet, credit cards, gift cards, birth certificate, driver's license, ownership, debit cards, health card etc. I want to say thank you for bringing to my attention that I was the fool for carrying my life in a black carry all for you to steal. I didn't even notice it was gone for many hours because you left the purse. Once I discovered your dirty deed I panicked. Who do I call 1st the credit card companies, my bank, the police, on and on. I called the credit card companies to report stolen cards, bank re: debit cards, Ministry of Transportation? All were sympathic and advised me what to do. I went and got a temp drivers license $25. I had a copy of my ownership so that wasn't needed. Health card has to be reissued they gave me a code in case I have to go to the doctors. Started to do a replacement for birth certificate $85. fee, needed a credit card to pay for it oops mine was stolen, this list goes on and on. I want to thank you for leaving my wallet intact at the Tim Hortons Wyandott and Lauzon where the wonderful manager named Shannon went the extra mile to tract me down. I hope you enjoyed the tim cards and the staples gift card and the $10 but I got the meet and speak to some wonderful people and learned a lesson about what to keep in my wallet from now on. The point of this is empty that wallet and don't keep everything in one place.
