Just a huge thank you to a young gentleman behind me at Giant Tiger. I was $6 short on my bill & told cashier to remove pkg of socks I bought for myself and he slapped $6 loonies on the counter & said "here, take this."...I of course said no thank you, but appreciate your kindness & he said "please just take this". It was such a simple, sweet gesture and I teared up & said you just made this "ol' gal" very happy (don't consider myself old) & he was so kind & laughed and said, "well I have a few cobwebs to dust off me". I love this post and reading kindness of strangers and now fully appreciate how it makes a person feel. Whether it's a $1 or $20, a simple act of kindness can mean so much to someone.
