Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
February was a very cold month, and on the 8th, my grandpa passed away in London. It was Avery difficult few days leading up to this, and exhausted, we came back to Windsor that afternoon. That same night...around 8 pm, there was a knock on our door. Being it a Sunday night, we were confused as we we're not prepared for visitors. At our door stood a older arabic lady, and I assumed her mother. Her car was stuck in a snow bank in front of our house. It was -40 out, so my husband and I picked up our shovels and some sand from our truck, and was able to send them on their way. This past Sunday, I was enjoying the sunshine on our porch, and that same lady stopped by to bring me a gift for helping her when she needed it. I thought that was an unbelievably nice gesture. She was so thankful even 6 months later. That really made my day.
