Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
It's not often that I receive what I feel is superior customer service from someone but on July 12th I visited Home Depot. I was looking at weed killer right by the door leading out to the garden center when Lisa stopped and asked if I needed any help.
I explained to her that I had just purchased a home with my wife in the Riverside area and that the lawn was as much weed as it was lawn. She took the time to walk me through all of the different options for getting the lawn under control, explained the pro's and con's of each, the ecological effects of each approach as well as the effectiveness of each approach - based on her own experiences and what customers reported to her.
I left knowing exactly how I wanted to proceed and what it was going to take to accomplish the task. In a world where most employees barely notice you exist when you are in a store, it was refreshing to have someone take the time to fully educate me in a very patient, kind and thorough way! Home Depot is usually pretty good when it comes to customer service but she was the best I've dealt with!
