A few days after Princess Charlotte was born my wife sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a little outfit that I made to Kensington Palace , their home in London, England. Yesterday, in the mail , she received a Thank You card from Buckingham Palace. She was so excited that they received the outfit, and I hope to see Princess Charlotte wearing it one day. I have included in the photo the Original 2 piece outfit she made for Princess Charlotte.

The back of the Thank You card reads:

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were most touched by the thoughtful gift you so kindly sent on the birth of their daughter, Princess Charlotte.

Their Royal Highnesses are extremely grateful for all the wonderful messages and gifts they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.

I am so very proud of my wife. She created the outfit in her head and then recreated it in yarn. And the Prince and Duchess were so kind as to acknowledge the gift (although that is protocol) the fact is my wife is not the head of state of any place. She is a wife and mother and she is amazing (at least to me).
