To the family of the gentleman my son and I found laying needing emergency medical care outside the emergency department at the hospital today:

I just wanted to let you know that he's been in our thoughts and prayers and hope he's going to be ok. As I ran to get help my son stayed with him and we wanted to make sure he knew that help was on the way. I'm not sure if he could hear us or not. But I wanted to let you know that I assured him help was on the way. And we stayed with him until help arrived. Hope everything is going to be ok.
