To the mother who pulled mother duty on me. I'm attending the University and currently suffering from a bad flu/ cold. When I was at the clinic I was on the phone with my mom speaking french telling her how I wish she lived closer so she could help take care of me. This lady sitting at the clinic overheard me and understood me. When I hung up she asked how I was doing and explained she heard me say I wish my mom was here to help me get better. I explained how much easier it was to get over a cold when you have a mothers touch. We talked some more and she gave me some advice. We exchanged numbers cause she wanted to follow up to see if it helped. The next day she calls me and hears how bad my voice was and asked how I'm feeling. We talked for a bit and she said she wanted to bring me some soup it will help. I gave her my address and she showed up with tea and soup from timmies. She stayed for a bit and helped to pick up somethings around my 1 bedroom apartment and stayed with me for a bit to keep me company. What a sweet lady and so very generous. Knowing I lived alone and knowing I really didn't know too many people in windsor. She made time to come pull some mother duties to help a stranger. Thank you Rosanne for caring so much. She called again to follow up and i told her I'm much better today.some great people out here in this city.
