We had a buy one get one coupon for domino's. We decided to use it tonight. My husband calls in the order before he leaves work. He gets home, and although the sticker on both pizzas is correct, one is actually wrong. The domino's is 5 minutes from our house so instead of waiting for a 35 minute delivery he decides to just drive back and pick up our correct order. They offered us a dipping sauce ($.50 worth) for the inconvenience. I said no, I wanted some money back. It didn't have to be a lot, $2 or the cost of a crazy bread. It wasn't our fault the order was wrong. My husband returns 30 minutes later (maybe it would have been quicker with the delivery) and the story he told me blew my mind. First the guy thought we were just returning the pizza for our money back. After arguing with the guy he made a correct pizza and gave my husband $10 back (which we do appreciate). After waiting for the new, correct pizza he hands my husband the cold, incorrect pizza. My husband doesn't check until he's in the parking lot. 30 seconds later he walks back into the store and points out the pizza is still wrong. The employee argues that it's correct and then accuses him of swapping the pizza out for one of the 2 original ones. This argument was only concluded after my husband walks him to the car to prove that there isn't a second pizza in his car. So not only is he implying that he's a liar but also a thief. They walk back into the store and my husband suggests he grabbed the wrong one. Magically he finds the correct pizza sitting on the shelf. My husband left quite upset, thanking the employee for calling him a liar. Once my husband got home, to a partially cold dinner, I called to get the managers name. Yes I used some bad words, I was upset, the employee was arguing with me and took 5 minutes just to give me the name. The guy thought that just because he didn't call him a thief or liar that the implication wasn't there. I hope you enjoyed our patronage because that is the last time we will be using your establishment!
