Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
A couple of weeks ago I had boarded the Ottawa 4 East in the early afternoon with my 7 year old daughter, myself with a bus pass, and with what I thought was her $2.75 bus fare. I had counted the fare out of my little change jar before leaving, handing her the money to put in her pocket, seeing my shorts didn't have any. When it came time to put the money in, we were a dime short. In a frantic search through my purse, digging around my wallet and bottomless pit of items (all the while keeping balance) I didn't have any other change. A woman had raised her hand up asking how much I was short, she started searching in her purse.. then another spoke up with a dime in her hand.. It's only a dime, but it was a genuine, generous gesture. I've never posted on here but always read of the thoughtful ways some look out for others, and I love when I witness an act of kindness myself.
I raise my daughter alone and the 'to do list' in my mind is endless, always feeling adrift. I just wanted to say thank you muchly to you two kind ladies! I was reminded that it's alright, and it's okay to breathe..
You both have been Spotted! : )
