Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
if you were outside today, you know that the weather was into the 80's and very humid.today of all days is not a good day to run out of gas especially being almost 6 months pregnant. I always keep a gas can in my car for such emergencies like this and my husband took it out for some reason a while ago( thanks honey).of course having a cell phone helps but not when nobody's answering their phone. I finally got ahold of my sister and of course by this time I was crying. after about 15 minutes one of the construction workers doing construction on the new Expressway Near Ojibway came over and asked if I needed some help. I held back my tears and told him my situation, he then said he'd go see if any of the other workers had a gas can. My sister , still on the phone with me was getting ready to pack up 3 kids into her van to come help me at this point so we were both hoping that there would be a gas can and a possible ride to the gas station. A few minutes later the man returned with not only a gas can but a FULL gas can. He poured the gas into the tank for me and waited to make sure it started. He refused any payment and told me to get my butt to a gas station. I was so overwhelmed with the joy of knowing people like that are still out there that I cryed the whole way to the gas station. So to the worker that helped me and the one who gave up the gas, I just want you to know that you truly made a pregnant lady's day. Thank you so very much!
