Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted once again ridiculous amounts of construction on Wyandotte. Is it really necessary to block off 6 continuous blocks of one of the main city roads at once? Has anyone considered what it is like for the disabled or elderly to walk an extra 6 blocks to catch a bus? Not to mention it literately happens overnight so everyone is caught off guard and ends up missing the bus they were trying to take in the first place. What ever happened to detours or at the very least some notification that you are about to be taken 6 blocks past where you need to go! Better planning needs to happen by the city, these construction companies and transit Windsor. Lord knows we pay enough for public transit and it's mediocre (at best) service. Is it really that hard to have up to the minute information on a site or app somewhere?
