I was running late to work after hearing some bad family news. I stopped at the subway on Howard just off the expressway. The girl at the counter couldn't get the debit to work and I was running out of time and could t get to the bank machine (work midnights). She mentioned it was acting up all dad and didn't want to call the manager so late. I dug out a $5 and nothing else. It was almost 7 and she said "don't worry about it, I will take it out of my tips.
