A group of students from Southwood school conducted a neighborhood clean up in honour of Earth Day. While they were picking up garbage in the neighborhood, a man drove up and thanked the students for being good environmental stewards. He then gave a generous financial donation to our school's Eco team. We did not get this man's name, but this kind act renewed our faith that what our students were doing was valuable and important!
