Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Spotted in Windsor: I work in nursing, and every afternoon, I take a client of mine to have an afternoon snack at Tecumseh Mall. He enjoys the surroundings as well as his Tim Hortons yogurt. While feeding him, a nice lady walked up, said Merry Christmas, and left a scratch ticket on our table. Just wanted to say that your small gift made my day and restored a little faith in the kindness of others. On a side note, that ticket did not win, but as I searched for a coin to scratch it, I realized I had a toonie. I used that toonie to buy an elderly gentleman a ticket, and one for myself, even though I rarely buy them. Well, that ticket won me $50! Thanks so much for making my day, and I admire that u also did that while with your children...great lesson of kindness and generousity.
Signed,
A very grateful recipient
Spotted : to the person who hit my car last friday night/ saturday morning at the corner of shepherd and pelissier, it would have been so thoughtful if you had owned up to the damage you did instead of driving off and doing nothing...thanks for the wonderful christmas present
Yesterday was a very trying day for my family and I. My Mom was rushed into the hospital with a bad blood infection that she got out of nowhere. And is in critical condition in the ICU in a medically induced coma for a few days so her body can fight the infection and so many other things. Things don't look good. But, my aunt and I were finally about to go home and it was very late and freezing outside. Her van wouldn't start so we needed a jump. I went asked a dozen people but no one would help. Even a cab driver was going to charge us $10 for a jump.
Spotted : To that someone from the emergency room finally came out to help us. You had a nice black truck. I just wanted to say thank you to him again for taking the time from sitting in the emergency room with your loved one to help us on a very trying day.
Signed, the very grateful girl in the green and pink winter hat with the pompoms..
Hello! My name is Cal Cuffaro. I am a 20 year old independent artist from Windsor, Ontario. I was wondering if you could give this track I recently recorded in my home studio a listen? It is a cover of Holy Grail by Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake minus the rap. If you liked it I was hoping you would post I to help with views and get it heard.

Thank you, and Happy Holidays.
Spotted : To the bus driver on lauzon and hawthorne at 12:55pm today. When you stop just before a stop sign, turn your four ways on and let out a passenger, drivers behind you may pass you as you STILL HAVE YOUR FOR WAYS ON. Be sure to turn them off BEFORE you start driving again. You missed the right rear side of my vehicle by a hair (where my young daughter was sitting in her booster seat) and then began to lay on the horn for a good ten seconds. That was your error, not mine. Please be more careful as you almost caused an accident today.
Signed,
A relieved mother
To the driver in the grey van who was speeding in the dollarama parking lot off of Dougall who failed to stop at the intersection (which was my right of way). You almost t-boned me had I not seen you speeding a mile away and continued to pass through... My 3 year old nephew was in the car... You then proceeded to give me the finger and swear at me. Because it's my fault right.
Thanks. You've been spotted.
Spotted : To the lovely woman that was standing inline behind me at Pizzaway on Dougall today at lunch time, THANK YOU for being so friendly and chatting with me and reminding me that happiness is from within and to go out of your way to cheer me up and wishing me a Merry Christmas. Yes meeting you did make my day and Christmas season much better especially on a day that I really needed uplifting. It was nice to hear nice things and not bad things today!
Signed a Grinch who's heart grew 3 sizes today
The need to show lonely International Students the warmth and generosity of WONDERFUL WINDSORITES. Instead of being stuck in a lonely dormitory over the Christmas Holidays for two weeks, we have the opportunity to host an International Student's very first Canadian Christmas Dinner. It is their first time away from home in a foreign land. My family and I have personally hosted several students over the years and still stay in touch with many of them after they graduate. I invite you to join me to show the true spirit of sharing and caring this Christmas.
