Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
To the small car that was driving down Milloy on Thursday night at 6:30... I wasn't honking at you like a crazy person because I was being a jerk. I was trying to tell you that you left your pizza in the roof of your car when you picked it up at Naples! When I was stopped behind you at Central, I tried to yell out my window but you didn't hear me. Unfortunately, as you drove on, I saw the pizza slide off into the road. I called the restaurant to tell them, in case you thought that you had left it there. I'm hoping that the offered to replace it for you if you went back.
I don't usually vent on FB however, I am disheartened tonight to find out someone took our rocks from my parents tree and gravesite. These rocks were special as they all came from Salmonier Newfoundland,my dads home. My sister Dar and I spent time painting these with there names on it and each of the grandchildren. We placed them on the gravesite on my moms anniversary,Aug 6 this year. To think someone is that cruel and unkind of the dead is the lowest kind of human being. I am hoping I am wrong and they show back up. I have contacted the cemetery however I know this isn't the first time as I have had 3 small Christmas trees taken and I've read others have lost stuff. I put this out in hopes of shaming whoever took these as you see they are unique.
My brother's work van containing all of his tools was stolen out of their driveway. Please contact police immediately if seen. Info on picture.
I posted last week on Oct 8th about my car getting broken into. It was broad daylight around 2:15pm-2:25pm on Oct 8th on Ellis and McDougal. The person on a bike come from howard and brazingly just came up to all of our cars until he got to mine and smashed my window. This was in broad daylight and it was shift change so I am hoping someone had to have seen something or got a good look at him.
To the blonde woman in sunglasses who walked out in front of me on Partington while I was driving - I have never been so close to hitting someone in my entire life - you walked out in front of my Jeep without a care in the world and I was one inch from hitting you. You saw me and shot me the finger as I honked at you. I saw the house you walked up to - the one with the RV in the driveway. I cannot believe the complete and utter ignorance and the complete disregard for both our safety. I am still shaking. I have had nothing but problems on this street and I'm sick of it. Had I hit you, it would have been my fault. I hope I never see you in this area again because if I do, you won't enjoy the encounter. Enjoy the rest of your day and I know karma will be there waiting for you.
On Tuesday oct 8th my car was broken into in broad daylight out front of where I work. Someone decided to break my window and steal my back back, I hope they are happy that inside was our dirty clothes because it was my overnight bag. They got away with my daughters nebulizer machine which she needs daily and all of my medications!! This happened on Ellis and mcdougall between noon and 330 pm. If anyone has seen and orange duffle with wheels. The nebulizer was green with Elsa stickers all over it and medications and hair products were in a purple bag. Police report was made but the cameras around us are crappy and guessing nothing can be done.
Comment below if you found the bag anywhere near that area.
I have had two very random and creepy notes left in my car door handle. Both times this has happened, it was super late at night in large parking lots so I wanted to write this post to inform and make people aware that this may be some type of distraction. The first time this happened it was early September around 10pm, second time was late September around 12am. Both notes mentioned that my feet were nice and they said they took photos. Just a little weirded out by this, was wondering if anyone had any similar occurrences happen to them.. thanks
Please can children be reminded or instill in them to open their minds and hearts to others?
On a morning walk, came across a young student not in school. Briefly, she said she was having a difficult time with the kids (she changed schools). I spoke a few words of encouragement, and offered to talk more.
I'm omitting a lot of details of this event/ dialogue because it's not necessary. The importance is that we take care of each other; especially the young ones who have so much life to live.
My heart hurts for her still, and I really hope for the better...
