Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
Don't you know what a stop sign is? Or maybe a school bus stop sign? To all the idiots who seem to be blind and deaf in the mornings, all those cars are stopped for a reason, all them ppl are honking at you to STOP because there is a school bus there picking up children, MY children, this is happening just south of the 401 on Walker road. Maybe next time there will be a cop out there. Will you stop then??
Did you know that the entire right turning lane ( yes, the one used to turn into Macdonalds.) Is also a designated turning lane for Costco TOO! You see, when the right lane begins there is a large traffic sign stating "this lane next two rights!"
It is NOT okay to change lanes in the middle of the intersection!!! I work very close to this area, and almost everyday, I see many near misses. Please obey the rules of the road and use the lane as it was intended!!! Or even better, just go straight down Walker to legacy park and enter Costco at that entrance, safely! Without potentially endangering the lives of other motorists and pedestrians alike.
Thanks to the driver of a white Dodge Ram who decided to turn in front of me and the car in the lane next to me. We both had to slam on our brakes really hard to avoid you. Be careful and know how to pay attention to stop lights and oncoming traffic you jerk. Just know that you been spotted. You are so lucky that we were able to avoid an accident from occuring. I wish there would have been a cop around to nail your bootie. Stay off the road if you can't drive idiot.
We were on our way to our next pool closing and noticed an elderly man trying to get his mail from one of those stupid mailboxes that were improperly constructed in Tecumseh. The company who put up many in the area did not level the ground before putting gravel on top in a brutally steep slope from the roadway up to the mailboxes. This is a very busy street in Tecumseh with loads of vehicular traffic. Even if this man made it up the slope with his wheeled walker, he would have probably fallen onto the roadway, into oncoming cars and trucks. Please please please call your local MP and complain about these unsafe mailboxes. The Government is obviously trying to cut costs on mail delivery, but the cost could amount to more than monetary... it will kill people! Please get involved and have them, at the very least, make them safe for people to retrieve their mail.
Saturday morning, around 2:00 AM I took a cab to my street and got out and dropped my wallet, well I assume that is what happened.
I had $150.00 in my wallet, which was flat open in the road when someone found it. I just want to say one thing, that money that you took was money for my son, I needed to buy groceries with the money to feed my little boy, who is 19 months old. You have no forced me to go out and get a pay day loan which I really didn't want to do.
I also want to say thank you to the nice black man that showed up at my house to return it, I am extremely thankful to have got my wallet back because all mine and my little boys identification is in it.
Well I know that a thief lives around me and it's probably the same thief that broke into my car back in December.
Honestly, god it watching you your not alone. Karma will get you I have called the police and have to send my wallet in for finger prints. You also took my G2 paper ? Why did you take that, it's expired... I don't expect you to come out open arms and admit that you took my sons food money, I just really hope this gets to you, and I really hope you needed the $150.00 more then I did because I am a low income mom, I just make it by.
So I just want to say thanks, thanks for not taking my ids but for leaving my family with $1.50 that was very nice of you to leave the change in my wallet...
I hope you can buy yourself something nice with that money and remember where it came from, because you chose to take from a little 2 year old.
People like you do not deserve anything. You honestly could have did something good, picked up the wallet looked at my id and brought it back to me.. I would have gave you money if you were honestly that desperate.
Well you've been spotted for being an inconsiderate thieve and I hope karma gets you and does the exact same thing to you, then you'll be wishing you did something good.
I also want to thank you for leaving my wallet wide open in the road, that was extremely generous of you....
Just a heads up, I was approached yesterday (Sunday) afternoon at the gas station at Central and Tecumseh Rd by two men asking for money, saying they were stranded. A half hour later they were at the gas station at Howard and Grand Marais doing the same thing. Maroon pickup, Alberta plates.
So, our Church was in need of a router for a new to us computer. An incredibly generous donor stepped up and bought a very good router from Staples. We had difficulty installing the router and called Asus to have assistance. The lady on the other end could not help us get it working so she gave us a reference number and told us that we would be able to return it at Staples with the receipt and the reference number. This Friday, I tried to return it with all receipts and numbers in hand...the Manager would not let us return it.
He actually started out by telling us he would allow us to if we purchased the $29.00 insurance (after the fact) I said sure that would be great! We didn't want an actual refund, we would have been thrilled to have a credit. I was ready to pay for the insurance and he changed his mind completely!
Yes, we were past the 30 days; however with a reference number from the company, this should have been automatic.
I know, I will never shop at Staples and neither will our entire Congregation. I hope they realize that approximately 80 people at our Church, know about this incident which means probably those 80 people have told another 5 each...that relates to 400 people who may never shop your store.
Thank you Staples....very disappointing customer service!
My 80 year old grandfather was phone scammed by a man first calling him grandpa then continued on with his story of getting into an accident then being arrested. Seeing that my grandfather has so many grandchildren he didn't question it and went down to the Windsor courthouse to give a " lawyer" bail for 1000.00. My grandfather was a victim of this horrible act and I want everyone to pass this on so this does not continue. $1000.00 is a lot of money for anyone to loose especially at 80 years of age with not much money coming in .
