To the driver of a water tanker today, eastbound on Riverside at Walker, around 3:30 pm. It says "stay 500 feet back on the rear" which I saw as you sped away. You almost killed two cyclists today. As you turned right onto Walker, we had to slam on our brakes to avoid going under your truck. We yelled and you just kept going. I'm guessing you didn't even see us because we could clearly see you in your side mirror and you were looking down at something.
Take a refresher course. You only proceed with a turn if the way is clear. We are all lucky we were paying more attention than you were, or you'd be facing the police right now, and I'd be at the morgue.

To the woman screaming at the check out lady this morning October 8th at Metro in Riverside.
Shame on you! You bought beautiful flowers for someone ( maybe for just your thanksgiving table) and the floral paper cones were not available at the check out area but in the floral department. For this you screamed and threatened and yelled at the lovely woman I see nearly every week working her butt off and being so kind to everyone and helpful. You yelled " do you know how much money I spend here ?!" Did it occur to you she does know how much you spend? Did it occur to you that she makes minimum wage and Metros latest overhaul has cut everyone's hours by at least half. Did you know this is thanksgiving weekend and these lovely cashiers are working on their feet all day? While you can afford beautiful flowers and what appeared to be a gorgeous hair cut and style, very nice sunglasses and the vehicle you drove off in anger wasn't so bad either. I'm not sure what set you off but if it was the 12 steps out of your way to get paper for your flowers you certainly must have an amazing easy life, that sense of entitlement and nastiness you spewed all around this morning was the worst display of 'first world problems' I've ever seen. I won't post the video I took of you yet because I am hoping you will return and apologize and ask the Metro staff if you can shop there again, I would ban you permanently if you behaved in my place of work as you did there this beautiful morning. I wish you peace and kindness and a glorious thanksgiving tomorrow, I hope your flowers don't wilt from the angry energy your person exudes.

To the low life that came up on my porch last night at the corner of Niagara and Louis and STOLE my buda statue... HOW DARE YOU!!!! you are a looser. That statue has a lot of sentimental value, even if it wasnt expensive and YOU broke my heart. I hope you fall and scrape your knee... you just ruined my thanksgiving.

This is what the landlord on Elliot and louis deems an acceptable way to throw out trash. Please tell me how anyone walking, let alone in a wheelchair or has a baby buggy is suposed to get down this sidewalk. Its also going into the street and blocking traffic. This is disgusting.

To the person who stole my ebike from the hospital down town . You were seen on video and the police have the tape. Anyone seeing this bike it has no bin on back just the medal rack ,crack in the front nose and the right side rail has cracks in it. this is my only means to transportation to and from work ....Desperately need my ride back

Today on my lunch I went to Burger King @ Mc Dougall and Tecumseh . If you have children that go to Kennedy or Catholic Central maybe you should have a talk with them and remind them they are in public. Some of the behaviour swearing at the workers yelling and caring on while little kids are in there eating, not a happy place to be. As a parent myself it upsets me that this is our future. I am not saying all of the students but for the most part very hard to understand why not toss out your garbage.

If you have a sick or injured pet and you cannot afford the ridiculously high Veterinarian bill to help them, you can surrender the pet over to the Human Society to be cared for. In return, they will help the animal and then put it up for adoption, but you - the original owner - can not adopt the pet back.

Essentially, the Human Society will do the work pro bono and then put the animal up for adoption to a new family for the low cost of anywhere between $150 to $250.

I don't understand why they don't instead help low income families to keep their beloved pets. Why not, for example, give the family the discounted price of $150 to $250? Why force them to deal with such an ultimatum?

Don't get me wrong, our Human Society does a lot of good, and I realize they can't do everything for free. However, there needs to be better options available for low income families than to simply surrender over their pets.

I feel it's unfair that well-loved animals can't stay with the people that have loved and cared for them for years simply because these people are too poor.

And what about the poor animal? It goes through a traumatic experience, and then is taken away from the family he/ she knows and loves and is given to a group of strangers instead.

It breaks my heart to know families are torn apart all because of the rising cost of bill given by a Veterinarian.

To the jerk driving an older blue dodge caravan turning left on the expressway on walker heading west bound learn some patience! At 11:30 am me and my mom were driving and we were turning left on the expressway heading west bound on walker. There was three cars in front of us turning and the traffic was busy so clearly the first car didn't feel safe enough to go so the guy who was behind us driving the blue caravan maybe a 2002 honked and went into the straight lane and then cut every single car off that was turning and almost got smoked by a 5 tonne truck because he was too impatient to wait for safety! At that same very spot in march 2016 my mom was in a very bad car accident the car flipped over and was a write off but for some angel watching over my mom,grandma and my daughter none of them was seriously hurt just a few scratches. So next time you have no patience maybe think of other people first because you never know what can happen!
