So My young son is in a wheelchair and we don't always park in handicapped parking if the spots are wide enough to get him in and out. Over the past few months we have seen this really cool silver / chrome BMW around town and my son LOVES it. It's really kinda cool. Until today. Parked at the Fabricland in two spaces because you are what? handicapped? needed the space? Cool? Total lack of regard for other people and weren't aware that maybe the spot next to you was someone who would a: never swing their door open and hurt your car (the spots are very wide) and b: next to someone who now USED to think you are cool. Next time don't take the FIRST two spots to double park go out further and walk in - because you can.

I was talking on my cell phone Friday night while on my balcony at Riverside & Bruce. It was a gorgeous day, late afternoon. I saw two boys riding their bikes. An Acura minivan hit the one boy on the bike and then proceeded to HONK at HIM!!! He had the walk signal and YOU were over the crosswalk, Acura! Learn how to drive and shame on you for being over on the crosswalk, hitting a young man and honking the horn at him!! Maybe you should drive 15min and do that in Detroit and we can see what happens. I tried getting your plate number but unfortunately it came out fuzzy.. Lucky you.

checked the mail today and got my renewal papers for my home insurance. in four years, my insurance has literally doubled from $44/ month to almost $90/ month. i have only ever missed one payment when closing an account and transferring my direct withdrawal to a new account. I gave Johnson the new info but they said there wasn't enough time to make the change and it would come up NSF and I'd be penalized and the missed payment would be divided up to my remaining payments for the year and would go back down the next year. I called and spoke to Kelly Boyle and said I would come in to the office and pay it early so it wouldn't be a missed payment and she said they didn't take cash only direct withdrawal... seriously? she was pretty rude and not a all helpful. at the start of the new year, not only did my payments not go back to what they were, they increased! and have been doing so annually ever since. so, is there anyone out there who really likes their insurance and is willing to offer referrals/ recommendations? I just need a trustworthy place that isn't going to gouge or take advantage because I absolutly won't be renewing with Johnson.

To the person who stole my solar lights, garden frog and sun right from the front of my home on Howard Ave must have needed to touch up your home way more than I did . Just know that karma is a BI. Good things do not happen to thieves. I'd never steal something so it really does pain me to know it would happen to me. Enjoy your new items. Jerk.

IS THE PRICE OF GAS REAL LIFE RIGHTNOW?!?!

so after my neighbour mowed my grass for me today (Ty for that btw my brand new lawnmower broke).. I get a knock at the door. thinking it was my neighbour, I answered it (I never answer the door if I don't know who it is, my people always call first lol)..

so it's this guy from OEG and he says I have to let him into my house because ontario is doing an energy efficiency study and he needs to check to make sure my furnace/ central air isn't spitting CO2 back into my hose basically. he also said the province was crediting money for any new equipment I might need at no cost to myself.

I don't let any solicitors in. ever. but I gotta give this guy credit. when I asked him specifically if he worked for the government of ontario doing an official survey, he (without even flinching) said yes. when I asked him if I was required by law to let him in to check my furnace, he again replied yes. aside from my general paranoia the only thing that seemed out of place was that I'd recognized the logo they were using as one tht had been used by another door to door scammer years prior. when I said I wasn't going to let him in because my dogs would eat him, he backed off a little bit. asked if I could lock them up but I told him my rotty opens all doors and moves about the house as free as a rabid bird (at least I told the truth). he suddenly didn't want in so bad and said he'd come back another day. i said the dogs would still be here and off he went. called union gas and did some googling and confirmed it was indeed a scam. they are not from ontario government and they are absolutely trying to sell u something and you are not required to let them in.

it's funny how you can go from meeting someone who wants to help you out of the kindness of their heart to someone who will boldly lie to your face, misrepresent themselves and try to force their way into your home all in a matter of minutes. I really worry about newcomers to this country and older generations who may be more trusting so please let your family/ neighbours know in case someone shows up at their door.

I like many who were not happy with the candidates , that decided to go into the polls and decline their vote, but remain part of the process have been duped!!!!!!!!. Although it was a declined ballot my understanding was that my voice would have been heard..... I have it on good authority that the individuals working the polls were told to accept the declined ballot and place them into an envelope which was
done in front of me .....only to be tossed in the garbage at nights end. I made my decision to DECLINE my vote based on " no confidence " of anyone in the parties but still wanted to be apart of the process ..my understanding was that this would be a way for the government to see a number of people were not confident ....I guess next time when I have no confidence I just won't vote !

on june 9 at around 1130 pm i was in the parking lot at polonia park I ran into my moms for 5 mins and stupid me i left my car unlocked and some idiot decided it was ok to help themselves to my purse and my brand new cell phone they also thought it was ok to break into my sisters car and help themselves to he change look buddy you got alot of nerve if you needed money that bad then take it just leave the id and oh just so you know that phone which is a galaxy s4 mini can never be used or even unlocked it has been blacklisted so to anyone who is buying one of these off line just know it is no good it can only b used as a paperweight but i would like my sd card out of it i have pics on there that can never be replaced so if you have it please just drop it in the mailbox of the owner you thought it was ok to break into their car for some change
