Like to send a BIG shout out to Wendy's in Pickwick Plaza for the awesome agility dodge I get on the way to the gym in the morning. Your parking lot is disgusting and with the rodent problem on this end of town you should be held accountable for your contribution. Segal Central should be the Plazas NEW NAME! It IS your responsibility to keep your parking lot clean and respectable!

Last night at about 6 pm me and my girlfriend made a last minute decision to stop at Rosa's restaurant in Lasalle . We were greeted at the door by a young man who sat us at a booth where the table was dirty it had pasta sauce all over it and he then proceeded to put the menus on the table .I had to tell him that the table was dirty and to clean it .he the returned with our waters we ordered . We looked at the menu and ordered a large salad for an appetizer and the chicken parm which came with a salad to so I said the great we can take to home to have later . The waiter then brought us some bread and we asked for a picture of water . Well 30 mins later still no salad still no water we ask for water again and still no return then a waitresses and we ask her for some water and finally get it after 45 mins we are then served are salad at 50 mins in but not the salad we ordered it was just the side salad that came with the meal when questioned about the other salad he said I figured you did not want it since you dinner came with one. The waiter clearly heard me say we will take the extra salad home when we ordered so were at an hour and no dinner now 1 hour and 5 mins we ask were our dinner is and the say soon .70 mins we ask again and threatened to walk out 75 mins our food arrived and for me to top it off if your working in the food industry and you have long hair like our waiter did you should be wearing a hair net and not have to keep pushing your hair out of your face and the touch my food so needles to say I will never be going back there and my recommendation if you go there and a long hair waiter attempts to seat you ask for a different server . And it was not busy in there maybe 3 tables the place was.empty but the service sucked

I went grocery shopping at Zehrs on Manning Road today. My daughter (who is 1.5 years old) loves going there because she knows she'll be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy her complimentary cookie from the bakery! Around 4:15pm today I noticed a group of teenagers (15-16 years old) walk in to the store and 1 of them went straight for the bakery, which is right by the doors, quickly looked around to see that no one was looking and then proceeded to take ALL of the cookies from the complimentary box the people in the bakery put out for people to give to their children and RUN as fast as possible out the door! Seriously kid!? I'd be embarrassed if I was your mom!!! Those cookies are there for moms like me who need their kids to sit quietly for a whole 7 minutes while we power walk our way through the store to get everything on our list before our shopping companion begins to complain, loudly I might add, that it's time to leave! You want a cookie, take one...I don't care, but ALL of them!? I hope you got a stomach ache and had to sit on the toilet all night after eating 12 sugar cookies!!! YOU'VE BEEN SPOTTED!!!

Not many people are aware that many people in the service industry ( hair dressers, esteticains, massage therapists, ect) have to pay rent to be able to provide you with said services. When people do not show up or show up late its actually costing them money! Its also a waste of their time and potential. These are the people who make you look and feel better and deserve a bit of common courtesy. This is a busy time of year and will get busier for them. If you can't make it then let them know, they can't pay their bills with an "I'm sorry" or " I forgot". They are your local small business owners so let's all remember to keep our appointments, as we are all grown ups and should be able to with all the technology that we have.

Thus morning my family and I were having breakfast at a restaurant on manning Rd. My son was looking out the window and started saying " Mommy what's that baby doing? Where is his mom?" I looked out the window and there was a Toddler crossing manning Rd ALL ALONE!! I tried running out of the restaurant but a lady that was riding her bike ran to his rescue. A short time after that his mother or care giver came. KUDOS to the lady on the bike for risking her life running Into the traffic to save this little boy. I am was so relived that he was safe. To his mother or care giver (not sure) I hope this is a lesson learned to NEVER EVER let kids out of your sight not even for a SECOND. This situation could have been ugly . YOU ARE VERY LUCKY THAT NOTHING HAPPENS TO THIS KID.

To the dumb blond driving the Ford Edge at the stop sign on Glendale and Empress. Here's a tip on how stop sign rules work....When at any intersection where you want to turn left (you), you must yield the right-of-way (me). If you are turning left, you must wait for approaching traffic to pass or turn right. And since I was going straight and you were turning left that means you have to wait. So next time you want to yell at me and turn around and try to chase me down, maybe you should go back to driving school or return your license to the cracker jack box that you got it from. You never have the right-of-way when turning left unless you were at an intersection with stop signs at all corners which that spot is not. You moron!!!

To the mother at the Talbot Trail/ Fireman Park...

You need to keep a better eye on your child!!!

He was lost for a good 5 minutes and you still weren't even looking for him. Just because your at a park doesn't mean he's safe! He was shaking and scared standing in the middle of the parking lot.

Once I tracked you down (I could only wave you down as I had stopped my car as I was leaving the parking lot, I had my 2 children in the car) across the park he bolted through the parking lot to you, again risking getting hurt while you stood there watching him from a far.

Thanks goodness a good person found him...he was so close to the street and would have went with anyone.

Good job 5 year old Luke for being brave and letting me help you find your mom. It was a great teaching moment for my son as well.

To the moron in the burgundy dodge minivan that failed to stop at the red light at lauzon Pkwy and the fire hall,I was just about to wheel across on the green light when came flying by to make your right turn.Its a good thing someone was alert (me)otherwise I'd be splattered all over your grill.crosswalks are for people to walk(or wheel)across the road safely ,not for idiots like you to play chicken with. Please pay attention people.
