My 7 year old daughter happily received her letter back from Santa...the personalized P.S. however was anything it should have been. Completely Unacceptble. To the person who wrote it, if you were having a bad day, I am sorry, but you should have went home.
Today at the Tim Hortons on Manning I accidentally cut off a young man in a pick up truck, I didn't realize you were in line as there was two car lengths in front and I was trying to move so the car behind could turn right. I realized after my mistake when you laid on the horn behind me and reved your engine and accelerated towards me. But thank you for scaring my young children in the car, thank you for yelling at me as I placed my order and again as I picked my order up, and I paid for your large coffee to show I was sorry.
At the end of the dayi was a few seconds ahead of you, think about your actions,is it really worth intimidating someone over a cup of coffee. I hope you were just having a bad day and that it turned around.
You brought your young boy into the women's bathroom at Walmart. I was in the stall with my own child. When your son was misbehaving your exact words very loudly to him were "j**us f**ck you're such a little f***king ba***d" and proceeded to yell at him and tell him he would be spanked. Then as washing your hands he ran from the bathroom I presume as you screamed his name out and then shouted "j**us f**ck!"
We all have bad days as parents when our kids are misbehaving but this was extreme. I wish I had seen who you were so I could have reported this or been in a position to intervene. When parents tell at kids it is no one's business, but when something like this happens, it sure is! I hope someone else hears you having a meltdown on your child like this and saves that poor little boy from this abuse.
Does anyone know what was going on with a train at 6 am this morning along south national? It repeatedly was blowing its horn for what seemed an eternity! woke us all up. Just wondering if anyone else in the area heard it and knows the reason.
i am beginning this only as" frustrated mama" i am the mother of an adult son i have been caring for him his whole life half of those years by myself the other half with my now husband and his step father . he is fast approaching 30 years old he has cerebral palsy he cant walk hes in adult diapers he suffers seizures .recently my husband after 40 years of working was forced into early retirment because of health issues that caused his legs to develop an artery disease he was half my help for lifting, bathing giving meds changing diapers and giving me a respite now i do most on my own and care for my ailing mother.we recently applied for a grant to help us get tracking in our bathroom and his bedroom we already have the materials we just need help with installation.then we were told we qualify for an outside ramp and then we get a letter the other day saying 300.00 dollars is all they can do .that doesent even begin to take care of what we need hes basically stuck in his home and my husband tries to lift him in his bed and he weights the same as his dad.i guess what im getting at is why is it so hard to get help for people with special needs especially when you have never asked for anything from anyone before .i just dont know what to think or do im tired of crying and having my son see me like this signed one very confused and frustrated mama
My grandmother was at Canadian Tire on Walker Rd. on Monday, Dec 2nd around 1:30pm. She was approached by a young man, well dressed, saying he was apart of a church group that helps the elderly and widowed. She was looking for some car parts to fix her power steering and he said he could get someone to fix it for free that night. My grandmother willingly gave him her VIN number for her car and telephone number thinking it was legit. My mother was skeptical and called the church he claimed to be from before anything further happened and the chairman of the board said there is no such thing!! He said to make a police report right away. Everyone should know about this since it is close to Christmas and a prime time for scams! Please be advised if this happens to you or someone you know that it is fake and do NOT give any of your information!!
To the gentleman riding down Manning road around 7:30 am each day, please apply some reflective tape to your black clothing and maybe consider adding lights to the front and back of your bike. I appreciate that you are biking on these cold mornings but would hate for you to be hit.
Be careful out there!
Spotted and felt first hand that racism is still out there, tonight we decided to go check out this store. Was at the meat counter wanting to buy some ground beef , there was one guy in front of me waiting as another family was being served, there was about 4 more people behind me , for got to say my family was the only white family in the store. After the guy in front of me was served the man behind the counter said in his language to the guy behind what he wanted , he served him as well as the other 3 before he looked at me , didn't even say a word to me. I should of spoke up but hate causing a scene. I felt like it was wrong of me going into a oriental market bring white ,at least that's how they made us feel!!!!!
