Dedicated to the general sights, news and funny happenings in the wonderful city of Windsor
This post is a little late but still wanted to put it out there. I was at the Walkerville Art Walk on July 21. I stopped by a vendor and bought something. Kept walking around to another vendor named Border City custom Prints, I walked up and was looking at her products. She makes handmade bath bombs. Without showing any interest in her products yet she offered me a bag for my previous purchase from a vendor that was a glass candle jar, awkward to hold. Very nice of her to offer her own supplies to me to carry my item. I continued to look at her products and bought a few. She was very helpful in questions I had about her product. I have extreme eczema and her bath bombs did not react with my skin they left me feeling so smooth and relaxed. She had different scents and colors and it was so pretty to watch the foam of colors in my bath.
Thank You Again.
Thank you so much to the Good Samaritan that found my lost iPhone at the University and returned it to me. I was very upset and I am glad that people like you are in the world. I had no money on me to offer you a reward but I will pay your good deed forward :) Thank you again.
I'm a letter carrier and I just thank all the kind people who offer us cold water and drinks in this hot weather, it's greatly appreciated! Special shout out to Marco who bought me a banana strawberry smoothie at Tim's on Ottawa today! It really hit the spot!
I got back into town last night after more than a month away on a motorcycle trip west. I had driven out with my bike in the back of my truck and once there took it out and rode up and down the coast. I then put it back in the truck for the trip back. Passing through Windsor I was pulled over by Windsor police where Dougall turns into the 401. Turns out a bike in the back of a truck at 3AM in the middle of the week is suspicious. After they determined the bike was mine and not stolen they let me go.
Thanks to the Windsor Police for watching out for stolen bikes. The motorcycling community really appreciates it.
I just want to say Thank you to the west bound truck driver in the Woodstock On route. You made my daughter extremely happy and she was full of stories about her new friend Sam the Mounted Police Horse.
You had watched her give the giant Mountie Moose a hug and how she played with and had asked If we could get the stuffed animal horse that she was playing with. I had explained that maybe after dinner and that I would think about it. You were a head of us in line at the Wendy's and must of heard her ask me again for the horse and my reply. After you had ordered and while waiting for you order you walked over and purchased the horse for her. I told you that you did not have to do that and you told me that she reminded you of your little girl who is now 21 who also loved horses. But because you drove truck and were away alot you missed alot of these moments.
I do not know your name or even what trucking company you work for, but you have been spotted kind sir. Your act of kindness made the final 3hrs of our drive home full of imagination and stories of where Sam the horse would take her.
My dog was given to the humane society without me knowing, i wasn't able to retrieve any info about the Adoptees. If anyone knows who they are I'd love to see my baby again, I think about him everyday wondering who he's with and if he's happy. Dogs are like family members and I'm deeply hurt constantly thinking about him.
While at Tim Horton's around 11 this morning, found a baby doll.
If your mommy or daddy or even grandma were there today., have them ask for it at the counter
These sweet little girls had a Lemonade stand with Hot Dogs, cupcakes and treats to raise money to help feed the animals at the Humane Society. Address is 1614 Wescott Windsor
