I went to Fresh Co this January 6th and as I was cashing out I heard this gentleman around 80yo saying that he did pay for his groceries and what I assumed was a manager kept pressing him about the receipt and this gentleman asked the cashier and not to say she was rude but her tone was not pleasant first she said I can't hear you then she was yeah you paid but where is your receipt this went on for a bit I don't know if there was something he might've forgot to put on the belt and pay for but the poor guy was pushing a walker and had three bags I don't think he went in there to steal but to embarrass a senior in front of at least 20ppl not ok shame on you you need more training.

Winter Mittens

Thank you to the lovely woman who came through the drive thru at Tim Hortons a few weeks ago. It was Saturday morning and our rush hour so the drive through window is kept open, and since it is winter and ice cold outside I was freezing. I had a jacket on but no mittens. I was at the window for maybe a few hours the day before I met this woman. She got a large black coffee and while she was rummaging for change I held the coffee in my hand to keep warm. She apologized for taking a while to find change but I made a joke about using her coffee to keep my hands warm anyways so I didn't mind at all. I had also told her how I had bought dollar store gloves the day before to use at work but I had forgotten them at home. The woman then left with her coffee. Not even a half hour later she returned to the drive thru with a pair of dollar store mittens for me. This woman made my day and I don't think she knows how much those mittens helped me and a few other employees that day. I've worked at Tim Hortons for a few years and never have I ever encountered someone in the drive thru so kind to do that for us.

Beautiful soul

To the woman who sat at the large party at chucks road house on Tecumseh Rd. You heard my 2 year old tired and cranky crying and we were about to leave becuase it wasn't fair to the others trying to enjoy there new years day dinner. You turned around in your chair, grabbed a side plate and threw 6 French fries off your plate and handed it to me with a bottle of ketchup. Thanks so much! Just enough to get her by until our meals came and we ended up being able to enjoy our night out. You are incredible and even had the hug and kiss on your way out the door. It takes a village and you were a mvp this night!

You made my day better

I woke up this morning to frozen water pipes!! Ughhh so I had to call into work, lose a days pay plus overtime. I had to so I can take care of this before the pipes burst. Can't brush my teeth, can't wash up & cant even use the toilet!😩
I'm in a crappy mood and all I want is WATER!! So I decide to go to the Tim Hortons @ Tecumseh & Huron Church around 8:40a.m. so I can use the bathroom and pick up a coffee.
The lady with the little space between your teeth, YOU made my day better so THANK YOU!! You were the most pleasant employee I've dealt with! You greeted me with a very genuine smile and just seemed like you were truly happy at your job, which is rare. You were just really nice & sweet & happy! It was nice for a change! So thank you for making my crappy day just a wee bit better!!

Act of kindness in Belle River

Thank you to the man that helped me get my plates off at the Service Ontario in Belle River. The bolts were rusted and my screwdriver wasn't doing the trick. It was freezing outside and I was ready to give up! Luckily you were willing to help and had a tool box handy.

It may not seem like much. But I had two toddlers waiting for me inside. If it wasn't for you, I would have had to pack my kids up and go back home. Only to come back another time.

Also, the service was great! Thank you to the teller that was extra helpful.

Happy New a Year!

Stuck in Drifting Snow

At the old Grace site on Crawford. The walk had been plowed, but drifting snow had filled it back in. And of course I got really stuck in my wheelchair. A lady came along & offered help. She went across the street, borrowed a shovel to dig me out. A man came along, parked his truck, took over, and bing, bang, boom, they made a path to the road. My chair was taken right out to the road and I was able to get up to Wyandotte, facing the traffic. Their names are Jen & John and they are my Snow Angels ! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. I'm dropping off a little donation to the Mission in your names .. when the snow goes bye !
