Two spottings

I wanted to acknowledge two people today that went out of their way to help me out. First was the real estate agent at Royal LePage Binder in Tecumseh, I had gone into the office to ask for a phone book to call Tecumseh Transit, as I had missed my bus due to me being at the wrong stop. She came out of her office as I was leaving, and handed me a copy of the schedule and map that she had printed for me, and pointed out the bus stops on the map. I didn't get her name, but she made my day just by doing that for me.

Secondly, I made it over to Zehrs to catch the bus, and only had my Transit Windsor bus pass with me (hubby told me that I would get on free with the pass - he was wrong) I had no change on me, but the gentleman waiting for the bus as well paid my fare for me so I wouldn't have to wait an hour for the next one.

It's always nice to hear

I am a divorced father of 2 and I was with them on Canada Day during the Parade in Windsor. I had one of my kids on my shoulders and the older one (8) was walking next to me. She asked if she could switch and go onto my shoulders but I couldn't do that because my youngest was way shorter. I gave her a kiss and she understood and just held my hand. This lady standing next to us (probably in your late 20's)overheard our conversation and asked if I wanted her to take my youngest so I can hold up my older Child. I said it's ok I didn't want to bother her, and she insisted. She took her and we watched the parade, she was there with her mother and father. After the parade my daughter came back to me and she said thank you to the lady. I thanked her and she turned and said You are welcome. She then said "I have to say, it was nice meeting you and your kids. You seem like a very caring father. Your daughters are very lucky.

I have to say that I felt amazing after hearing that. I know my kids love me but for a person from the outside looking in notices that and says something....well that's golden.

Thank you for making my day/ week

To the Couple who helped my Daughter

Thank you so much for driving my daughter home after her vehicle broke down on Arner Townline. She was very scared to walk home as it was getting dark. I would love to thank you personally .
Words cannot express our gratitude.

To the older couple in the walmart parking lot who helped my daughter. I was at work and got a text from my daughter saying I need to go to Walmart and grab the garbage cans because she couldn't fit them into her car. About 20 minutes later I got a second text saying "nevermind, someone helped me." When I got him she told me an older couple saw her struggling and offered to put them in their van for her and drive them to her house. They drove from Walmart on the East end all the way to Parent and Wyandotte. She offered you some money for gas and troubles but you declined. You have been spotted, thank you for stepping up and helping.
